Have you ever tried to transfer foil on glass. I am trying to do a multi media glass painting and I want to use the foil for effect. Do the same rules apply for glass as for nails?

I would love to see you experimenting with the foils and stamping for sure. I am going to try doing the stamping and any tips you can share would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for sharing.

Hi there, I have not done this technique as of yet but you are right about using black polish to make the chrome vibrant. I have created nail sets using chrome (in a different way) and it's so much fun. The black nails came out really nice, Thanks for sharing!

The little plastic pieces that came with the lamp is for placemats of some designs using the UV light to cure it n place.

The nail shape template is for creative designs. I wish you would have went over the card before guessing cause now I’m curious on what the items are really for.

My problem isnt transfering the foil but the top coat and foil peeling or chipping off so the designs on the nail end up not lasting

Not sure if you know or not but they also have stamping gel

So some stampers does pick up well and buffing it or using double sided tape to prep the stamper does comes in handy…I thought the same thing at first until I actually tried the buffing and find that it works better when you buff some stampers

This is the most accurate how to nail stamp video I have seen and you explained it perfectly. May I add, that sometimes, scraping the image in a different direction can give a more crisp image. I prefer the gentle roll method, gives me a better pick up. I also don't know why the jelly stamper are buffed 🤔Tape or lint roller should be the only thing used IMO. Nice stamping plates! I really liked the gradient flowers and the plaid design.

Hi can you cap the colour with base or top coat then wipe the nail before adding.g the foil gel?

I got one of those lamps off temu and idk what they are for either...inthought it would help wit curing large glitter but it goes into the bottom

Yep I figured out that wiping off the nail before you polish it works. Easy foiling!

Great tips for foils. 😊 It was just to much hand movements

Suggest getting a bigger dotting tool. They are meant to dot, not necessarily smear around. Also, use a different color for the center.. using white just makes the dots look misshapen. Sometimes black is a good choice.
