Those Patriots uniforms from 1994 are so much better than the ones that came after (1995-99, 2000-2019 and 2020-Present).
Nixon destroyed himself
18:55 Hi Roger
The Greatest Event in American history--I've seen every doc on Wgate except this excellent one. I'm always spellbound learning more about this fantastical story. Thanks for finding and posting!
It was mostly G. Gordon Liddy that did the break in an was trying to make a name for himself.
I think there was incredible pressure from the White House and Mitchell to get incriminating campaign finance information on the Dems. Mitchell hesitated, and Magruder pushed the issue when the first bugs were non productive Liddy didn't want to go in again, and Hunt wanted to cancel when the garage door tape was discovered. Nixon didn't know about it,but he took part in the cover up immediately,a day or two later.
Dean played a huge role in Watergate, and he doesn't even show up in this documentary.
Wow, Iris is delusional.
Its a clear case of "Cunt of personality"
Ah, simpler times
Edited transcripts!!!!!! PLEASE!
By definition that entirely defeats the purpose.
This guy’s tail is in a crack LOLOL
Italian dressing is a “sensation?”
“deliberate” monotone? How do you know? Dean’s testimony is horrible b/c of his terrible presentation style.
Omg The McDonald’s commercial!!! Genius!! 44:00
Just wait til we get our Hanes on you…..Classic
The commercials are amusing
Mike Wallace’s narration is overbearing and overdramatic. I can’t watch this. Wallace singlehandedly ruins it and makes it unwatchable.
“the public never really understood?” But YOU did, right?????
Of all The dumb things to say….”others may hate you.” The more he is allowed to speechify, the worse he looks. You resigned. You’re done. Just leave already. No one cares. Schmuck
When I lost my job in November, I didn’t get to give speeches. I was walked out the door.
Deep state coup
Mickey Mouse, small ball, low tech stuff compared to the massive spying done today with big tech algorithms and data collection. Not to mention "open borders" to change the electorate. LBJ used the FBI to bug Nixon's phone over Vietnam. Woodward and Bernstein made a fortune off of this. Today the Dems sic the FBI on parents at school board meetings RFLMAO!
That whole bay of pigs thing... lol this was a coup and woodward, Bernstein, and john dean are frauds. Nixon didnt even know about the break in until after the fact... these burglars were purposely caught and they happen to be cia btw 😂 seems like nixon didnt listen to the beast and it devoured him.
Too many things going on in this story that are forgotten. Woodward was not a journalist. The plumbers were all CIA and had broken in several times. Hunt's wife's plane crash and the importance of the others on board and what she was carrying (hint...it was more than $10K). FBI agents arrived at crash site before fire fighters (50 agents, eventually), and at control tower retrieving data before FAA/NTSB. Getting rid of Agnew and placing Ford in VP position (Warren Commission). Alexander Haig, etc...
I had just started high school when President Nixon resigned and Gerald Ford took office. I remember not really being interested in Watergate or understanding what was going on for that matter. I was 14, I was interested in high school girls and football. Now, looking back, I think I really missed a huge part of history. I have since tried to learn as much as I could. Watching this I can’t help but think we didn’t learn anything. We’ve got a man who was President and is now running for that office again that I don’t trust for one second. For example, he HAD to have known what was happening on January 6th and he didn’t try to stop it. Why didn’t he make some sort of public plea asking those rioters to stop? He took Top Secret documents from the Oval Office when he left. It doesn’t matter if it was legal or not, he never should have taken them to Florida. He had no reason to have those in his house. We can’t trust Donald Trump. I think he’s way more dishonest that Richard Nixon ever was. I think he’s got an ego twice the size of Richard Nixon. We need to remember Watergate…

Bob Kraft is a disgrace to the nation!
And it has happened again. If this gravely stupid country re-elects trump this nation will cease to exist. Think I'm crazy, well..... Wait and see.
So sad seeing a healthy kevin turner
Orthwein was right about the day of Parcells' hiring being a huge step forward for this franchise. People lined up at the stadium in droves to buy season tix in the days that followed and In April Bledsoe's selection provided even more optimism. Within 4 years they were AFC champs and after a 3 season decline from '97-'99, Bob Kraft was able to pull a trade for Belichick. Nothing matches April 16, 2000 thougth, when the architect of a 20 year reign came aboard.

Mary Stuart the classiest lady in soap opera history
Woodward was "allegedly" naval intelligence, either way he wasn't a journalist.
He had served in the Navy as an intelligence officer.Big deal
Now that we know Deep Throat was Mark Felt, it makes this belief it was Gray seem strange.
I was born 3 days after this aired
The retro commercials are the cherries on top
Nixon probably felt so liberated and free after he made his resignation speech. Hence why his goodbye press conference was so fascinating.
The good old days

56:01 The last showcase worth under $10K
New England closed that season with 4 consecutive wins…. And it easily could have been 5 straight (Pittsburgh stopped them inside the 1 yard line when the Pats down by 3 went for the win rather than OT)
Je veux en français
Isn't it strange the so called break-in happen after Nixon was heard saying he thought the CIA was responsible for Kennedy s death!
