My Shar pei dogs love the off-leash dog park. Shar pei dogs usually need to relieve themselves (go to the bathroom) at least three times a day--morn, afternoon, evening. My Shar pei dogs like snow but not cold weather. I cannot walk them if the temperature goes below 28 degrees F, even if I put layers of coats on them. I just let them in the yard a few minutes several times a day when it is very cold out. They love to play indoor games with treats, such as I hide a treat in one hand and switch my hands around, and they use their paws to pick which hand the treat is in to get the treat. I would like to train them to dance, but most dance moves do not look okay for a Shar pei, maybe just the twirl around or walk around me forwards and backwards. When I was watching martial arts Bruce Lee films, my older Shar pei tried to jump along like Bruce Lee in the off-leash dog park. They need a lot of sleep also, they can get sick, get a temperature if they do not get enough sleep. I feed them well, so they have high energy, even my older dog that has CHF is still very energetic. I wanted to bring my younger miniature Shar pei, she is the most adorable, but I could not find a suitable match near me. Her hubby was neutered before I got him. This is such a sad situation for me, not to see their puppies.

I take my Minipin to the dog park along with my other two small dogs for about 1-1 1/2 hours of play time and socialization with other stranger dogs in a large fenced in area, unleashed. Then the zoomies come around for my minipin with the other stranger dogs. My minipin has the time of his life, then when we finally get back home from the dog park, my place is awfully quiet until bedtime for us all. I have never encountered a more intelligent and fuller of energy breed as my Minpin

Game number one is hiding toys under the sofa then barking at you to get it out, Daily walk and the park at weekend He loves to walk and play with other dogs. Doesn't bother with the ducks or swans but chases the squirrels. This is our second Cairn , they are very vocal and highly intelligent. The most loyal of friends and will always make you laugh.

I'm currently owning my third WFT. My first one was the most energetic but my second and current one are very calm (for WFT). But one walk a day for 30 minutes?! Are you kidding me? My WTF (the calmest one) requires at least 45 minutes twice a day, most of it of leash and me riding a bike. For several days a week she needs to run free and play with other dogs, coming to run around the barn (sniffing, hunting mice and rats) and/or accompanion me when I'm on horse back, swimming is also a good thing if they like it. That is either a combination with the walks or an addition to them. When they are puppies they won't stop playing or walking on their own and when overly tired they will went into 'overdrive'. You'll have to recognise the signs and take your puppy out of play and teach them to relax. Otherwise you'll get a dog that will be constantly in 'overdrive' when adult. Socialisation is the key. Foxterrier are very alert and some tend to be borderline aggressive when not knowing something from an early age (other dogs/animals, kids, bikes, skaters, cars etc etc). That's imo way more important than waiting for their last vaccination, because they learn these things best between 8-16 weeks old. (Also there is a little bit protection from the first two shots) They tend to stay fit till old age. My first two showed a minimized drop of activities at 11 years old. But expected their walks till the very last day (at the age of 13 respectively 15 1/2 years)

Love my Minpin! He’s exactly what this video is expressing. Henny, loves car rides, the window needs to be down at all times no matter what lol. He wants everything I’m eating … plays fetch for hours….mad smart and is super protective of me. Hes a mix of chi and min pin… he’s a minchi and I love him so much! Best dog ever!

Take note If youre dog is showing "destructive behaviors" is most lightly because youre not a good owner and your dog is trying to brute fource fufill its basic needs on its own. We maybe not you specifically if youre reading this, you clearly care enough to learn about your dog and improve its life.

My mutley lived to be 17 and would walk 5 to 6 miles a day don't slow down walks as they get older just go slower they can still do it

My Greyhound would walk at 5:30, 9:30, 4:30 and one more around 8:00 pm. The walks were 1/2 to 1 hour long with rest stops when she wanted to take one. Play time in the backyard in the evening and in house roomies whenever the mood struck her. After the 9:30 am walk she would drink some water then go sunbathe in the backyard. She truly was something else.
