Atrocious that those philistines East Midlands Trains ripped out the seating from the inner station booking hall. A staff member said it was because they didn't want crowds in the booking hall. I was there at rush hour on a weekday & there was zero likelihood of that. Plenty of scope for seating which wasn't between the exits to street & departure gates. All about simplifying their OCD security issues. Beautiful ticket hall but unable to benefit from it, having to use woefully few seats outside it, plagued by cannabis-smokers etc & their foul smells
