This is superb! Thanks for sharing! ^_^
Thanks Zena and Christy, great information.
I was wondering was there a contrast element to the imagery of the various motifs. The main religious ones, the crucified Christ and the virgin and child are symmetrical images,They adorn the lantern. Below these around the sides is the mythical artwork. It might mean that they represent paganism, whereby Christianity had replaced and I suppose, relegated the old worshipping attitudes. The animals can also be a reminder to the evil that can be imagined was a vivid presence, since the 5th century. Brilliant presentation, much to stir the curiosity.
Brilliant video. Can't believe this doesn't have much views!
I love this. Looking forward to touring Ireland if Covid-19 ever starts dying down.
Lovely version! 😀 - edit: Spectacular version.
Great series and lovely to remember Baby (Nora), Willie and John.
Pants, the sound is ropey, but I got a bit used to it as the video played on.... But the illegal parking around the cross is more annoying
Well done a real spring
