The Galway Music Residency
Ирландия
Добавлен 14 апр 2010
Everyone should have the right to listen to, learn about and love music. This simple belief is the driving force behind everything that Galway Music Residency (GMR) aims to achieve. It exists to serve the people of Galway city and county, providing opportunities for all to experience music in new and unexpected ways, to learn from inspiring musicians and spark joy in their lives. Following a competitive international audition process, the ConTempo Quartet was chosen as GMR’s Ensemble in Residence in 2003.
At the core of GMR’s work has been the goal of softening the barrier that traditionally separates the audience, the general public, from classical music and musicians. We present music in interactive ways, in unexpected venues, giving people of all walks of life meaningful experiences of music and encouraging the next generation of music lovers.

can anyone tell me what is the name of the first piece?
Наверно похожим образом играл и пел Алекс на Саммер форуме от журнала Фейк.
Emma, you so rich in Irish dance, history and ancestry. It all comes out of your pores. It is an experience to watch you dance and to watch and listen to you speak about the subject.
Congratulations Emma! You are a true legend and you keep the tradition alive! Proud of you!
Музыка такая, будто кота за хвост тянут...

Emma..your dancing has so much grace…
What a treasure Emma is for this traditional music and dance.
Fantastic. Love your talent amd enthusiasm Emma. This music and your skill call to me. Is there such a thing as genetic memory?
Yes she dances well, but the simple fact remains that 16bluesherbert90 is the most adorable and beautiful of all the women ❤.
Emma is so wonderful! A fabulous dancer, and from what I can see, a lovely person!
Emma is like a breath of fresh air, she wears her talent so lightly! May she dance forever!

What a beautiful Valentine's Day gift! Thank you, ConTempo.
Emma is the loveliest dancer of them all.
I feel privileged to have experienced this extraordinary performance in person as part of NUI Galway's Arts in Action programme last year. Listening back, I can feel the same creeping tension throughout. Well done to all involved.
We're so glad you could enjoy Rough Beast again in film form :) Thank you for your support.
Estupendo!!! No words
Interesting piece of music. Took a little while to grab my attention properly, after a long day on site but worth the effort. Superb playing. Thank you.
We're delighted you liked it Michael. We have lots more to offer on our page. We hope you'll enjoy :)
Too much of the blokes at such wide angle with wasted screen space! Real waste and crap that! Not nearly enough of Emma dancing!!!
mostrar los pies que, no se ve ni un primer plano de ellos, es donde esta el arte
Good job Emma
Beautiful woman
I never did like the sound of the fiddle… But those dance moves are really well practiced and perfected.
nice performance, good job! lovely woman, Blessings! .
If a butterfly could dance, it would be called an Emma. These two excellent musicians merit some closer camera-work.
Wonderful! Emma is a talented, lovely, intelligent gem!
Very charming lass, I like the commitment to keeping the Irish culture alive. It is getting much more difficult these days.
I wish all people were like her.
Upyahgurlyah!!!
She is the best dancing bird I've seen! My eyes cries but my heart smile!
Probably the most soulful rendition of "The Streets of London" I've ever heard,,,, caused my eyes to fill up. 8:47
