That card is from an outdated dragon style where dragons were more prominent with battlecries. I don’t know why hearthstone thought to keep that minion in when the fighting style of dragons is ‘at the start of combat’ or ‘when attacking’. The only possible way I see it working is with amalgams, but you need a lot of consistency playing lots of battlecry minions each turn.

Battlegrounds isn't broken your hero power requires you to use certain coins for the unlocked hero. Your card was still locked.

Rule 1 of leapfrog: Manasabers are a priority. By spawning taunts you prevent baron from early death. Rule 2: Quantity over quality of spawns. It is better to have raptor than wrap god on your board, because you have chance to spawn more minions. Rule 3: Macaws are the leading force. It is better to have more Macaw placed before spawning beast than more spawning beast, because macaws drasticly increase the amount of leap buffs you have. Also combined with manasaber your frogs leap even more.
