CyberGate will be an infinite game experience that generates many surreal universes, each having unique creatures and materials never seen before. The players are tasked with learning about the nature and rules of their chosen universe, perform the right actions to survive, and ultimately become the master. In our journey across the cybergate universes, we expand our mind by experiencing the limitless possibilities, and wonder about the power behind existence itself.
CyberGate is a passion project that began in 2016, and solo development since 2022.
To deliver the most immersive experience, we build our own tailored made technologies and engine.

Some slow downs in the video are caused by the renderer, since it renders each individual cube in the scene, without any occlusion or voxel optimization.

I wasn't so impressed until I saw you take a chunk out of the ground. Super cool. Is that just one big sparse volume on the GPU?
It's all on cpu, using SVOs and dual contouring. Cpus are really fast!

Cool effect! Just keep in mind that if you're making a game, it's super distracting. I'd turn it off if I were playing.
thanks, in the game, the player can get upgrade cards to increase vision pretty fast, so the effect is mostly noticeable in the first 30 seconds
