Great review. You described it really well. I tried this at The Village Retail in Atlanta today. One spray took me on a journey. The name makes you expect something different and threw me off. I wasn’t expecting a deep mysterious citrus that transforms and lasts all day. I actually tried on several fragrances during the day but I kept getting wafts of this one and it made me happy each time. I had a great day. Literally one spray and have so many memories already attached to this fragrance. It’s an experience. I’m certainly going to purchase it whether it’s tomorrow or in the future, the small bottle or 50ml. Being black owned is the icing on the cake. I put this in the league of another recent find called Stag by The Maker.

I just got my discovery set in the mail today. The three i received were Soul Cafe, Whiskey Rose ans Ascension. Im currently test wearing Soul Cafe amd whiskey rose on the opposite wrist. As of right now Soul Cafe is the top runner it honestly makes me smile when i get a whiff.

I love myrrh and tonka as scents, but with so many women buying it for themselves, i think it would be too feminine for a man.

When I first heard about it I wanted to smell this first. My DISCOVERY SET $20 has arrived and I’m wearing this now. Didn’t know I liked 🌹 as much as I do and have smelled SEVERAL over the past 18months. The rose (for me) is just enough and then the smooth whiskey and whatever else that is THAT SMELLS PHENOMENAL is so smooth and seduces my nose. I feel like wearing this someone would hug me and immediately think “Dayum he smells good” some would add “yummy & sexy” 😁 Can’t wait to try the other 4. ❤❤❤

I just unboxed my set and you are right about Sin Santo and Sage pushing the boundaries. I normally wouldn't actively pick this type of fragrance. I'm a vanilla, clean, soapy, fresh/citrus floral type of fragrance wearer but when I sprayed this on and let the dry down happen... OMG this is a full bottle purchase when I run out... It is definitely Sage and Santo when you first spray it which I love but the dry down on My skin smells semi sweet, fresh, bright, clean... definitely smell the wood just perfect straight...I was thinking the same I might have to layer but I'm going to leave it and enjoy the ride. Thanks for the review it's definitely accurate! ☺️

Hi Sis I'm so glad i came across your content. A new subbie here. Your skin and hair radiates. You had mentioned a very important factor with you not being able to take alot of heavily scented products. Guys do check out Dermatologist and Formulater Dr. Vinita Rattan. She mentions ALOT on how heavily scented or any scented products will give people of colour "contact dermatitis". She mentions that it might not show up now or 10 years down the line but IT WILL. So we people of colour should stick to NON-FRAGRANT products. I love how we women of colour i am from Fiji, Dr. Rattan is British-Indian and you are African American. Coming together and sharing skincare and wellness in General. We have come a long way and hope we all can continue to connect with each other 🤞🏾✊🏾👸🏾❤🌞
