13:29 I’ve been trying to tell my friend this for the longest…. He’s only going for it because he’s thinking of the money aspects and I’m like bro… you’re going to have the rudest awakening 😭
As for me I have a passion for it, I just need to stop second guessing myself and go for it that’s my goal for this year!
I absolutely agree it will be miserable for your experience
Love the decor 😍 when is the next video ?
Thank you so much for this because I’m a new med aide and I need all of the advice I can get 😵💫❤️
I did not like the video it made my anxiety even worse.
It’s okay don’t be anxious you got this
Thinking about going to medical school and Your videos popped up on my RUclips-- defenitely taking a lot of what you mentioned into account before I begin ... defenitely overwhelming but I do find myself passionate about this... not even taking into account the $$ as much because I know eventually that will reflect on the experience I'll gain from here to then.
going to externship tomorrow! thank you so much
You can do it you got this. Let me know how your fist week goes
@ on week 7! it's had its ups and downs but it been great overall. it really is a learning experience. as long as you have good time management and good listening skill you'll be golden!
I am so happy to hear that !! You got this girl time management and ask questions you will be just fine
The fact that a medical assistant do so much for so little no life
Taylor Angela Taylor Brian Robinson Sharon
Thank you for this 🙏 God bless you greatly.
Thank you I take my final exam next week and national in two weeks 😭
The only thing I made it like is the notes now did I have a template for the notes? Are you in the room with them when they’re talking you have to take notes
Yeah, I’m trying to decide whether I want to do the dermatology office I’m a medical assistant as well. My interview is tomorrow.
YOU MAKE IT SO EXCITING TO START DOING MEDICAL ASSISTING. SOME PEOPLE ARE SO NEGATIVE I AVOID THEM VIDEOS. IM SO GLAD I STUMBLED ACROSS YOUR PLATFORM.
Thank you so much
I am just starting my CMA journey and thank you for this video on clarity in just starting and not having the pressure in knowing everything. You are amazing and thank you again!
This is actually helpful 🫶🏻
Thank you so much for these tips and tricks
Your welcome
You're the best! Thanks for your support!
Thank you so much!!! I took notes on all of this 👍 This was very informative and I truly believe this is going to help me with a lot of stuff once I do get started. I start my classes this Friday. I am so excited but also a little nervous. I am nervous bc I am 49 yrs old and as much as I believe that it's never too late to further a persons education bc I have been a certified nursing assistant, a caregiver, a certified psychiatric nursing assistant, and now will become a certified clinical medical assistant. I have always been very good at taking test and learning new things and retaining new information... but now that I am older I have noticed that my memory is nowhere near what it used to be and that I forget a lot of stuff now and I am going through menopause so I forget a lot of stuff and I have brain fog so just not as sharp with things as I used to be. I am about to get the bioidentical hormone replacement therapy on thursday and I know once I do that, my mind and memory will get back to normal bc all the things I am lacking I will have back in my system, but it will take it about 4 weeks to get back to normal so my first 4 wks are going to be straight hell. My school is only 4 months. The 1st 2 months are learning then month 3 is nothing but study and prepare for the test all month long with study tests. Then month 4 is our clinicals in which we have to do 80 hrs so we can either do 2 wks full time or 4 wks part time then we graduate... 👩🎓 pray that I do well! I have always wanted to do something like this!!!! I just pray my mind will retain the first 4 weeks worth. 🙏🙏🙏 THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS VIDEO!!!!
Hows its going? I started july 30th and im super nervous!!!!
Thank you for making this video ❤
Great tips. Love the video. Thank you!
How are things
I've learned more in 6 months as a MA than I did as a CNA 1&2 in 6 years at the job I've been blessed to work at. I wish I had more insight before I started college! CMA/RMA is def the way to go if you want to continue in healthcare!!
Yes, it helped a lot and easy to understand. Thank you😊
Glad it was helpful!
This will be my first week for clinicals and I am so nervous. I just don't want to seem like I don't know anything.
Howd it go? I’m starting two weeks from now
Well said....,🙏 This was very helpful. Thank you!
You are so welcome
Very comprehensive list!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!

Great 👍🏾 Video! Thank you 🥰🌹
No problem 😊
I needed this 🫶🏽 I’m on my last week of school and I have been so nervous, not having confidence in myself
Please do be nervous I was the same way but when it came to hands on in the field it comes right back to you everything you learned starts to come back to you
Very helpful. Thank you! 🙏
Thank you I’m glad I could help
Im planning to become a medical assistant. I am hoping for the best because its not common to see medical professionals with disabilities.
Awesome. How far into school was you before you started learning phlebotomy?
It was near the end I had about 3 Months left
@@aaliyahzhane4363 Thanks. Your tips and tricks were very helpful and interesting. I just started cma training. Is there a way we connect if I need to talk to you about cma?
Great video
Thank you so much!!! Your amazing
I am a new medical assistant currently in my extern! I would love it if someone did a video on how to get familiar with insurance , prior auths! I am struggling with this. 😅
Are you currently working? As a new MA alot of that learning comes with time. Taking notes and studying. Insurances change all the time, but once you start you will be able to learn whats next and keep going. Alot of times when you call for prior auth. info they walk you through whats needed and give you the information on where to send everything. In my bio I have a begginers guide ebook on Medical Assisting, Duties, skills to learn after finishing school, certification information, dealing with self doubt, and so much more. I even created and included a guided journal. The info is on my channel bio. Good luck with everything!
So glad i happen to find your video
Young lady i really appreciate this... Keep these videos coming!!
Thank you so much for these tips! I just started school last week for MA, and I'm so excited to start this journey in the medical field.
Thank you …good luck
Wonderful!
You are very beautiful
💕
Thank you ! 👌🏽✨
I start working on a clinic this Monday this is so helpful ❤❤thank u for this video
One of the best confidence building MA videos I've seen.
Thank you so much that mean a lot
Finishing my externship next week at a urgent care and its very busy. You are correct medical assistant stays busy. To triage, to charting, to disinfectant rooms after patient is gone. Swaps and much more. Thank you for this video. Absolutely spot on.
As a Boomer, I get SO angry when folks talk about younger workers being slackers or not having a good attitude toward work. Age is irrelevant when comes to one's work ethics, and this video shows it.
Thank you much, yes I hate that because I’m young and I feel like some feel as tho just because your young you will not be satisfied with you over all experience and that’s not tru at all
This is all true girl and I have been a Medical assistant for a year. Every doctor its different and you work how they like things. Its good to be observant and watch how they like things so that the clinic its run efficiently. If providers are happy then MAs are happy as well as the patients. As a side not I literally had to work with a doctor who can bearly see and I had to write in big letters or else he be like why are you writing little. I’m here like I am writing normal. But ok I’ll try with big letters and he seem happy with it. Lol 😂
Yes, I have worked with doctors that don’t even see the ma it’s like your invisible and then I’ve worked with some that don’t respect woman I could go on and on but as long as you do your job and make it easy for them they will have no choice but the respect you and your start to build a bond with your doctor
Great video! What would you say when asked if you’re new? I’m a new medical assistant and I’ve already sent out a few applications and i would like to be ready for the moment when I’m asked that question.
I be been doing ma work for about 2 years not but I’ve always been in the medical field in some way if that make since. You are new but that doesn’t mean anything let them know yes I’m new but I have old techniques and new techniques that I can bring to the practice my knowledge is fresh and I am ready to put it to use. Good luck on you journey
This video is perfect!! Everyone going into Medical Assisting should watch this! You nailed it..👍
Thank you so much I really appreciate it I’m happy i could help !
I could watch blood draws all day! I was an MA too, a long time ago. I absolutely loved it, and I wish I could do it again. I know this is a year old, but I appreciate it a lot! It makes me want to go find an MA job.....
Thank you so much for watching , personally that is one of my favorite parts of the job it’s so soothing and it just makes you feel like wow I’m really doing it. Come back to the team the world honestly need more MA .
@@aaliyahzhane4363 I would if I could! I'm too old now, I think!! Lol
