Also few correction in the video 1. It was मोडक and not मोदक 2. The heritage site in kota is river front and it is located at the bank of Chambal River.

There are two options from kota for DVM expressway 1. Either take Kota Lalsot highway (Strictly avoid in night) 2. Take NH 52 and take turn for Nainwa - Uniara SH from Hindoli (longer route - approx 30 Kms) but less traffic Although both routes have the same cattle issue (better but not the best option in night) If you are driving in night instead continue on NH 52 till kothun, this route will connect you to delhi mumbai expressway at Lalsot In any of the routes, there is no good option for food untill the cut for Jaipur on Delhi Mum exp, although you will get good amenities there after on every 25 KM’s (And all rest areas are working) Important - 1. Roads on delhi mum exp are currently unsafe due to poor road condition, you never know what comes in between the road and it will be difficult to control the vehicle at 100-120 KPH. 2. You will find trucks running on right side lanes, overtaking may be dangerous some times. 3. Due to poor road quality, there are dumps in the road, you can feel the imbalance in the driving and there is a high risk of skidding. 4. From Sawai Madhopur to Lalsot, NHAI started the toll, but you will not find any amenities plus road condition is very poor Kota to Sawai Madhopur route is not started due to pending work in between lakheri to SWM, however from Kota to Lakheri the route is ready but yet to be opened, complete route from Kota to SWM is expected to be open by April 2025. Tunnel comes after you cross kota city and it is expected to be completed by end of 2025 (as asked by many people)

What's the best night stay city for a 2 day trip. Ratlam is midway but not sure of hotel availability there. What's your suggestion?

Last Sunday (25.08.2024), I travelled from Kota to Sawaimadhopur on Delhi Mumbai Express (NE-4) and did a real time check as how far one can drive conveniently on NE-4 from Kota Interchange on NH-27, towards Sawaimadhopur. My experience is below: - 1) From Kota interchange on NH27, drive towards laban but dont exit at LABAN exit point, which is normally done by users these days, rather drive further towards Indergarh. A maximum distance of 68 kilometres shall be covered from Kota on this stretch, that will take you to the nearest possible point to Indergarh. After driving 68 kilometre, a stretch of road construction can be seen on NE-4 under progress, and one can't drive further. At this point you will be the closest to Indergarh and wiil have to exit NE_4. Put google map on at this point of time, if not already on. 2) Take an informal exit at this point on the left side of road, through a muddy slope. drive slowly about a kilometre on kuccha village road (This road is narrow and had some waterlogging due to rains, but drivable). 3) After 1 kilometre drive on above kuccha road, join a concrete road (approx. 4 metres wide) joining Daulatpura to Indergarh via Sumairganj. Drive 7.2 kilometre on this road to reach Indergarh. You will cross through various turns on this road and some habited areas before reaching Indergarh. Though the road from Kota to Indergarh is not formally opened but in good cnndition. Adopting above route can save you around 25-kilometre drive on state highway 148N (from Laban to Indergarh), a road with lots of speed breakers. But the best part shall be the experience to drive through under 05 animal overpasses, which are astonishing structures, first time built in India.
