The moment he wrote a 0 on Merediths hand I knew… and it was one of the hardest moments in the show. The look on meridiths face when she realized that the patient they’d been treating all day wasn’t just a stranger but he was George broke my heart. George was the good one, the one who was loyal, the underdog. He wouldn’t hurt anyone intentionally and he did not deserve what happened to him. We will always remember George O’Malley. Always.

Idk why they killed him off the show…. Broke me completely !! As soon as Meredith found out it was him, and the next episode came, I clicked out Netflix never watched greys again… I know there’s like 18 seasons an a lot happens. BUT THIS SHOW BROKE ME I AM DONE WITH IT, I heard Derek dies too… no thanks I don’t need anymore heartbreak from a TV series again… Omally an Derek was EVERYTHING!!! An they have nerve to break us like this…

Prime examples of shows with legendary characters but incompetent writers. TWD had Carl Grimes and Grey Anatomy jad George o malley. Each character was the heart and future of each show. Both were screwed over and to this day nowhere near replaced by anyone. That's how you know a character is special years later.

The most painful part here is that they didn't even get to say a proper goodbye to George especially Izzie.

After his death, the show felt dragged on as all the main characters died and got replaced by new ones. Although I did notice George becoming slowly less relevant in the plot in season 5

He went from being my least fave character to one of my faves. Omg. The way they killed him off was so sad and wrong. It wasn't the same after george died and Izzy left. Those two were the hearts of the show. I am done with this show. Watched it all and I love the early seasons when the original characters were on. S1-5 was best.

Im only on the beginning of season 7. i watched georges death with my mother and i was crying so hard i couldnt breathe. i saw 007 and i screamed "ITS GEORGE" and lost. my. crap... i miss him so much... he was my favorite..
