Turning a Rusty File into Amazing Sword 🗡️.
Nice knife. I think it could be a little sharper.
My favorite part is when you decided you werent going to be hand hammering that piece out and went back to the press
Buatnya terlalu kecil , ngapain gk buat yg besar dan panjang. Dan modelnya gk kya pisau dapur.....👎👎
Sandals?
Basic knife. Amateur skills. What’s the problem. P.S. don’t quit your day job yet.
Great vid - love the prep work! The mental and physical effort required in forging is impressive. Armatures are not for amateurs :)
You send the grinder sparks right to the welding machine and this is not professional
Oh yeah I was just being lazy lol
Interesting to see someone use a few drops of superglue rather than epoxy for the scales
i was terrified by the way you damage your vise by test welding on it, good job!
It was just a test!
What was the purpose of adding the unworked material to the partially worked material? Was it purely for visual effect or was it for some sort of strengthening factor?
World Some people in the world are moving towards madness. The steel from which this knife is being made is also steel.
Not using any flux to merge the welds better is insane
Interesting safety shoes. I used to wear them at the beach when the sand was too hot.
Not sharp enough
Working with sandals, not very good. So good bye
Bravo-bravo-bravo!!!!!!!!!
Weld a bar to the wrench going the opposite direction as the handle /wink
If you make a knife shaped object out of steel, guess what, it’s still steel and only as strong as the steel you used!
even lesser. carbon loss through heating... and deformation. Dont forget his heat treating process is not the most controlled, and I'm sure he does not know the exact composition of the steelk he is using... so no heat treatment possible that would be right for the steel...
Hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh@@AK-ContentCreatIon
Depends on the steel. I worked on presses with lots of gears. They were all softer than the bull gear. A 200 dollar gear is easier to replace than a $15,000 dollar bag replacement.
Now the saw blade is had.
no my friend, there is no need to forge the profile. and it would be detremental to some patterns, they would not look as desired... Only some aspects of "compressing" the steel through hammering changes the properties.. like cold forging may have some positive influence on toughness (at a given hardness).. Every modern knife manufacturer, and you cannot say that CRK or coldsteel make bad knifes, cut from a billet....
What steel are the burrs made of?
That one didn't turn out too good now did it.
You should see the finger print pattern
meh ... unsubbed
Thank you for everything
Amature 😂😂😂
Outstanding work 👏👏
Thank you for watching!
Of course a Russian would shit-talk a Ukrainian… 🙄 OMG you’re such a stereotype it’s almost funny. But then it’s just sad. Take your better-than-you garbage somewhere else. 🤮
Great work. See ya when you make your next one.
Thanks for watching!
I wouldn't have the patience to do all that.
Que faca linda vsfd tu é brabo pqp
I love the pattern. It looks like marble
Idk much about knife making but his sandals gave me anxiety 😂
That needs more sharpening.
Do you know about soaking the blade in STROING INSTANT COFFEE??? Yea after you etch it ferric chloride you clean it off then soak it in hot instant coffee... but you make the instant coffee really strong..... this will make the dark parts of the pattern and make them JET BLACK!!! Like really REALLY BLACK, but you'll still get all the same pattern and detail, and fading, and the light parts.... it just makes the dark areas much darker.... I guess there are different way of doing it, like hotter temp coffee or the amount of time you leave it in (and maybe even whether or not you wipe it down while rinsing off the etching acid 🤷♂) I think if you watch some videos of other knife makers on here you9 could find some better details on how to properly do it, but I think you will be impressed with what it does for the looks!!!
Thank you for advice I will definitely try that
I can see it's stronger than paper congrat.
I wanna give you a little tip I learned... when you cut with an angle grinder you shouldn't push down hard to make it cut faster. When you do this you grind down the disc A LOT!! Like WAY MORE than you realize... And you only cut through the steel just a little bit faster, but you're wasting SO MUCH MONEY on the discs only to save a minute or two of time cutting..... How much do those discs cost?? (I have no idea what kind you9 use, so they could be anywhere from $5 to $20) well I can't say if it's worth it for you, but I would rather have my disc last me making 3 or 4 knives than use 1 or 2 discs on just one knife... .. So I just wanted you to know this... the video I saw did good testing... seeing if pushing hard used up more of the disc than just gently push down... and it wasted A LOT... I just wish I could remember who made the video :/ ... I just hope I helped out some how :)
I appreciate the tip, I'll be sure to keep that in mind for my next project.
Yea those Damascus wood knives aren't very strong.
How can it be stronger than steel, IF IT IS STEEL?
Exactly what I said. 😆
@jeremyarnold1979 and twisted pattern welded steel is definitely not a good idea, if it should be strong... Too much internal stress, even when normalized... Maybe some cold forging could have some benefit... But no.. Mediocre steel will not become gold / better steel, just because it's welded...
Exactly what I said
Ditto
First think here too 😂
first wearing thongs as shoes in a forge no second did not work the sides of that billet enough this is a pathetic looking billet the knife will have voids
Third you should learn punctuation as this sentence is very difficult to read and or understand because there seems to be no flow to it as I said no punctuation or commas periods nothing
@@huggybuggy6541 oooo burn
You make the rest of us Trumps supporters look like shit for being such a dick head
I’am really surprised it welded usually rosters are covered in varnish and other crap
É um trabalho muito criativo.
I mean, it's a knife at least.
🗡👍👍👍👍OK 🆗
