Poor Locke 😢 Civilization was just so cruel and unfair to him. The world is not fair. It really isn't. John Locke was meant to be on the island and it brought him true happiness for him and the island made him do what he loves to doing passionately. John Locke is by far the best character development of Lost and by far the best drama series ever made.

It's best that they cut this scene, since we see Clark crying at the end. The reason the following episode (Vengeance) was so good was because Clark hadn't even cried for Jonathan's death. He was clearly blaming himself and hadn't come to terms with it. It made the moment where he cries while watching the video of Jonathan a really heartfelt moment, because it's finally the moment where he breaks down.

to me john's the best lost charachter

I think I heard someone say that this was cut out because they thought it was a bit too morbid for him to take the body with him. I also didn't like that the episode made it look like he traded Jonathan for Lana, but he couldn't know what would happen. Even though Jor-El told him that "Even if you are able to alter one course of events, the universe will find a balance.", of course he would do anything to save Lana, he was so griefstricken that he wasn't thinking clearly.

John Locke, One of the Best Characters Ever Created for Any Television Show!.

Well done. John Locke was my favorite character so I am interested to see what happens with him in both realities. I didn't like certain things he did, but, along with Sawyer, he had the most interesting and sad back-story. Also, I loved how in Season 1 he was the "wise man" helping everyone find or learn something important about themselves. Plus his walkabout training made him a survivor style badass.
