Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy – 'The Nutcracker' || TCHAIKOVSKY
P. I. Tchaikovsky - Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy from 'The Nutcracker' (arr. for piano)
Originally an orchestral piece, the "Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy" features the rare celesta, an instrument with a delicate, bell-like tone. Tchaikovsky discovered the celesta in Paris and kept it secret from other composers so he could be the first to use its magical sound in 'The Nutcracker'.

F. Chopin - Etude Op. 25 No. 5, 'Wrong Note' The “Wrong Note” etude suffers from a popular misnomer - all of the notes are intentional, but the first melodic theme is riddled with intervals of a minor half-step, or minor second, which is the closest together two notes can be on a traditional piano. M. Ravel - Gaspard de la nuit M. 55, II. Le Gibet A haunting piece built around a relentless tolling B-flat, symbolizing a death knell beneath a corpse hanging on the gallows. Barcarolle in F-sharp major, Op. 60 || CHOPIN
Просмотров 2,1 тыс.4 месяца назад
F. Chopin - Barcarolle in F-sharp major, Op. 60 It's one of the few pieces where Chopin explicitly evoked the feel of a Venetian gondola ride, which is what a barcarolle traditionally represents. However, unlike most barcarolles, which are simple, lilting tunes, Chopin's Barcarolle is richly complex, blending the soothing, rocking rhythm of a gondolier's song with intricate harmonies and passio...

Thank you!! It's really helpful
Would you be able to upload Arthur Rubinstein's version?
Hey maybe add to the title that it's the 1st movement
Niiiccce
In my head: "Wilde Jagd"☠️
Name of the soundfount?
What is the name of soundfont? It sounds very beautiful!
sounds like steinway D or B from pianoteq
I usually prefer to use the Steinway D model in pianoteq, however for this piece I used the K2 grand piano. It suits Beethoven's pieces better I think :)
Cool vid
How was this posted 4 years ago and only 1 comment
This piece makes me happy just by listening to it
Sounds great. A fine piece to learn if you can get past the inherent sadness of this music
I heard this was about to be Chopin's 5th Ballade, but it was not. Reminds me of Zimmerman now❤🎉
Krystian Zimerman plays this very well. To actually feel the movement of the water and the thrust and splash of the gondolier, listen to Dinu Lipatti. The only downside is that you will be disappointed ever listening to anyone else play the piece again. Speaking after 70 years of never finding better.
Damn literally fell asleep sksksksks job accomplished (loved it obvi)
Reminds me of Chopin Raindrops with that pulsating B flat. Beautiful.
Lovely! :)
Any chance that you'll create prokofiev sonata 1?
Could you make menuet from suite bergamasque?
Amazing, exceptional, excellent!
Esta pieza, convertida a piano, tiene algo especial...
Bach is incredible - I usually listen to composers like Liszt and Ravel but once in a while this is what I need :)
same :)
Weow that was beautiful!
Is this a romantic era music
It belongs to the Classical era!
3:51 how on earth do u play this lol seems impossible
fum fact: this piece was hand written meaning the composer actually had/can play this whoke piece
Beautiful piece

Chatgpt is broken🤪 as it says this is chopin's most unusual, dissonant piece and this uses complex harmony hard to understand😢 along with prelude op. 45 I don't think so, i absolutely love this😊
Devil trill is the most unusual and dissonant.

This Adagio stirs the soul. It soothes a troubled mind and heart.🎉❤
