For us in Wenatchee WA, at Link Transit, we have had a 100% pass rate for the pre-trip portion of the CDL test because this is how we teach our students to do it going on 5 years. Sure it might now work for other states or areas, but we have had many different testers, and it has worked for us perfectly. If you are instructed to do something different by your agency or instructor, please follow their instructions. What we do might not work for you, like-wise, what works for you or your agency most likely won't work for us.
