Consular did not look at anything you mentioned for my partner other than her ds 160 and fact she didn't have a job and was not in school. She is my domestic partner that I have lived with in PH for 2 1/2 years and I provide for her and our son 100% and our home is here in PH. My father is dying and I want him to meet his grandson, but I will not take him away from his mother. We had a lease with both our names on it with a large security deposit, all of our belongings are here in PH, future medical appointments for our toddler in PH, and most importantly life depending treatment for her in PH that requires daily medication and quarterly visits to her treatment team here in PH. We had all this information with her and when she tried to present it the consular ignored it and denied her. Guilty until proven innocent is a sick thing imo especially when it is the opposite when an American comes here. I understand the poverty difference, but it is heartbreaking that this is the way it is and that one person can ruin the lives of so many.

I was denied a visa after the visa officer only asked me Name of the Person I was visiting and also if I was married and I said no. Last question was where am I going. I was confused when she gave me a letter stating why I was denied.

if VO ask me : "What's your purpose visit to US?". Can i answer this based on i write on DS-160: "My wife & I are going to LA and other cities in California on Sep 3rd until Sep 24th for summer holiday. We already book return flight and hotels for those trip". Is this kind of answer categorized too long / too much details? Or should i just say "We're going to holiday to LA & SF on September"
