Lovely, im doing 4 rotten transits at the moment. The customer is spending a lot of money to get as good as possible.am doing them on a lift which makes things easier, the time involved is staggering.
Nice build! wonder where you can get replacement panels for a mk2 in UK or Germany We have a '82 mk2 york diesel. It's way less rusty than yours was. In the future i would like to restore it.
Transits have never changes, my dad's got a MK5 and he's just spent the best part of 75 hours outside in the rain replaying rust with actual metal and the rust is jn the same places as yours. Good to see a brilliant vehicle being saved from the scrap.
There's a 1980 old V reg UK plate mk2 Transit LWB near where i live. After 40 yrs on the road with one owner from new it's been sold to someone else who's gonna restore it. It's not too rusty for a mk2 Transit either.
jeez, is so hard to find a better transit in the uk? I did throw away a better one with a high roof and long wheelbase and twin wheels on the rear about a year ago.
Love this song and the transit.
where can i buy bodyparts?
central panels website...they have a lot of stuff..
