Dissidia Duodecim: Squall v Exdeath
I hate fighting Exdeath. He's very tanky and loves getting in close. And that teleport is super, super annoying! I should learn to play him. Truthfully, both Exdeath and Golbez are straight up beasts, and I'll bet a good player would be nigh impossible to beat.
I did sneak in a Renzokuken, and that Lionheart is always cool. I should build one. I could do it with a resin cast blade with embedded LEDs. Would look sick!

That time I ran around as a ninja class in powered chocobo armor. Can't be any more noisy than Michael Bay's version of the Ninja Turtles, right? I still think SE should have pushed this game onto other platforms and given it better advertising.
FFXIV, Takhisis vs Kefka

Easily the best villain in the FF series, and probably one of the greatest villains EVER, I decided to take on Kefka one-v-one in an attempt to get that sweet, sweet mount, the Air Force. Despite being level 100 myself, Kefka still has some pretty heavy hitting attacks, and I did hit the floor at least once. I don't really care much for Dissidia NT, and see it as a huge downgrade. Nearly everything that was great an unique about the original was removed and replaced with an arena battle system, which would have been great as an additional mode, but is not great as a replacement. A video I recorded in 2022 of a Ranger run in FF7:FS, before they shut the game down. What a shame, too, it was actually pretty fun. Might have survived if they had put it on actual gaming platforms instead of leaving it mobile only. No commentary, no soundtrack.

Keltec Update (PMR, CMR, P17)

Probably my next to last video regarding the Keltec firearms I have previously done reviews on, since I've gone over them enough. I did, however, spend a little more time at the range with them and put a few accessories on them. As usual, take this video for what it's worth, I don't do many videos where I am recording myself.

Not a great video since it's the first one I've done of this sort, but we all gotta start somewhere! Also, I've been missing a tooth since the lockdowns a couple of years ago (long story, and dumb to boot) so my voice sounds weirder than normal. Took the crew out to the range to test the CMR and make sure I put the PMR and the P17 back together properly! Had a minor issue with the P17, the PMR ...

Just a small review of my newly acquired Keltec CMR30, which I picked up for my birthday a couple of weeks ago. Overall I like it! It's a small and light package and it shares magazines with my PMR30, which makes for a great carry combo if I ever needed to. Also, 22 magnum is pretty cheap! Next up, range day!

Hey, thanks man! I'll hit you back. It's all good here in FL. Apparently I need to take up fishing!

Thanks! The finished piece was a lot nicer. Maybe Ill post some of my finished works here, since I think I'm gearing up to make some more. Haven't made anything since I moved out of Cali, so almost two years. I feel the need to build.
@@snappertrx Nice, and are you originally from California?
@@dj-um7el Yeah. Left a couple of years ago. It just didn't agree with me anymore.
@@snappertrx Nice, I'm also from California, Southern to be specific.
@@dj-um7el Nice! I kind of miss it, but I like FL. I can buy guns and carry them if I want, and no state tax! 😆
You compared that trigger to a hi-point ? Are you nuts ? Mine has about a 2 1/2 pound trigger. Mine came with 3-10 rd magazines instead of 16 rounders. Load 5, tap, load 11 more, tap, good to go. You'll forget you're carrying it cause its so lite. Cleaning it is a breeze.
Well up until recently the only pistol I had was the HiPoint C9. They make it difficult to get a firearm in CA and I never bothered trying to get anything else. The C9 worked and was sufficient for what I needed it for. Unfortunately that means it was the only other trigger I had to compare to! 😂 The P17 IS super light. Not sure why yours came with 10 round mags, are you in another country? 🤔
@@snappertrx Yeah, North Carolina.. I think I got the California model. I'm OK with that, cause I ordered 2 16 rd mags from keltec. When I first saw it, I thought that's one ugly ass pistol and ain't no way I'm buying one, that was then, and now I think it was the best purchase I made in a long time.. Btw, welcome to AMERICA
After years of Hoppes #9 ( which I still have & use from time to time ) , I must confess , I've gotten lazy . These days I'll spray 'em down with carburetor cleaner ( no wood finish ) , either drip or blow dry , spray it down on contact points with Safariland CLP . WORKS FOR ME .
So long as they keep running, eh! 😆
Luckily here in Indiana you can have a gun and carry whenever with no permit. Obvious there’s guidelines but it’s pretty straight forward luckily.
Well fortunately we have no-license concealed carry now (happened after I moved here), but still no open carry. I know some people say they don't support open carry, but I'm all for it if A LOT of people are doing it. That's the defense. What criminal wants to tackle a joint where 30 people inside have a piece strapped to their hip? However, I won't complain about conceal carry, since I moved here from CA where thinking about concealed carrying, even with a license, will probably get you arrested. 🙄
PSP version of this game is always far better than that bullshit they released on steam....such a shame too
No joke. Dissidian NT makes me cry. It looks pretty, but they gutted the game. I play it every once in a while just to mess around with it, but I play the PSP version almost daily, now.
That barrel shroud would be super awesome if it extended back into the front rail.
If you take a look at the other video or at my text posts you will find it actually goes pretty far back, though not all the way back to the front rail. It really makes the rifle look way more aggressive and tactical, and I get asked about it quite a bit at the range. As far as the muzzle brake portion of it, I assume its working, as the thing has almost zero recoil!
Thank you very much.
Sure thing!
Get a sub 2k I got 4000 rounds through mine runs like a champ I own a lot of Keltec’s one of my favorite guns out of my collection also the pmr upgrades are worth it
I get the oil for the metal parts, but I agree with another video that a dry lube for this gun is better. I just got one, its basically in the mail!. I always fire copper-washed 38-40 grain 22lr in my 22's, they don't fowl as quick. I am a big fan of Federal Punch. A bit expensive though. Nice review!
Thanks for watching. I've been looking at the Punch lately, and, yeah, it looks expensive, but the reviews on RUclips can't be denied, its effective! As for lubrication, I think the official Kel-Tec video on the P17 recommends Lucas brand CLP, which I have finally picked up. For some reason I can't find it anywhere except on eBay unless I want to buy a case! There really isn't much to lubricate, to be honest. You really just hit the back part of the slide and the trigger workings and that's it. A little dab will do ya, and its been running great ever since!
I liked the first one I purchased from my LGS and had no problems at all, so 3 months later, I purchased another one! I shoot once every week at my LGR here in sunny Florida and I have over 1000 rounds in each of these guns without any failures, except with a few Dud Rounds! I also have the PMR30 and the CP33!
Great! I need to pick up another full set so the wife has something to rely on if she needs, but I need to get her to the range first so she can more of a feel for the trio. The CP-33 looks super fun, and I'll pick on up eventually. Who knows, maybe I'll see you around here in the Sunshine state!
CCi Mini Mag rounds is the best rounds for my p-17. Target or Hollow.. both good
Yeah, though they are a little under-weight for what's recommended I've found that the CCI Stingers work well. I don't get any failures, despite their being only 32 grain.
@snappertrx ive used the stingers too. Excellent round for a 22.
It's an amazing tack driver. Eats any ammo too!
Well.... I tried some Herter's 40 grain and it didn't like it at all. I had a number of jams, iirc. That was the one, and only, box of Herter's I purchased. I did run Winchester, CCI and Remington through it as well and didn't have any issues, but in the end I decided just to stick with the recommended CCI. You are right about it being a tack driver, though!
Thanks for the heads-up, I never hears of Herters but I know to stay away from them👍🏼
I just picked one up and and I love it. On its first shots I used Remington and it wouldn’t cycle the next/ every other round. Ran fine with CCI. Will try other brands but it seems like you can never go wrong with cci.
@@lawlorlando Yeah, I've been juggling trying some different personal defense brands lately, but why? They recommend CCI and ensuring the gun fires is more important than what is being delivered, imo. What good is a PD round if you know your gun has issues with it? And at $10-12 for 50 rounds of CCI, you can't go wrong. Thanks for watching!
Im running Remington without any issues, I oiled it out of the box as did my siblings, no issues
I enjoyed the video. We have two Kel-Tec P17’s. Probably the very best value for a 22lr. My wife and I never cared for the grip. We both felt it lacked purchase. Anyway, this evening I installed Traction Grips to both firearms. What a difference. I would recommend them. That being said I think they’re a bit overpriced, and can be a bit fiddly to apply. However, it really does make a huge difference in the feel. You may want to give them a look. Stay safe my friend. Cheers! PS: Several years ago I payed a visit to them while in Florida. They have some really cool flashlights. Super bright and small enough to easily carry in a pocket.
Hey, I saw those flashlights and was wondering! Might need to pick one up. Really wish I could find one of their old bayonets! Yeah, I've used a Houge grip before on another firearm and, though they are a pain to get one, once its on there it's not coming off, and it did make a big difference. I like the grip on the P17, but...I've never done a liquid test or anything on it, and I'm sure it would be slicker than snot if it got something on it. I'll have to look into it. Thanks for the input!
Are you supposed to take it completely apart when you first get it to clean it?
@@renediaz5612 yes definitely. Cleaning should be done for any new firearm. Cheers!
A buddy of mine has the same 3 Kel-tec's, its a great set. Awesome video 🤙
It's a great little combination! Lightweight, easy to handle, and quite fashionable. 😆
10:35 yea i had numerous issues with stove pipes on the P17 when using CCI AR Tactical ammo. Apparently that ammo was designed specifically for AR style 22LR load ramps and those load ramps are made different than 22LR hand guns load ramps so that gave me stove pipes every 2-3 shots, it waa very annoying that i could not get thru 1 mag without a several failures. Switch to CCI Mini Mags and now i get maybe 1 stove pipe every 5 mags if that. Also funny how the ar tacticals worked perfect in my MP15-22 and NOT in the P17 BUT ... the cci mini mags in the MP15-22 gave me stove pipes every 2-3 shots consistently but worked perfect in the P17 ....
That's good to know! I didn't even know CCI made that type of ammo. I've been sticking to the Stingers and they work well. I tried a few other brands of ammo, but figured, if the manual says "recommends CCI" I'd just stick to that.
11:15 Try to carry a ~23 oz FULLY loaded gun WITH 2 other full loaded mags and see how HEAVY that is. This P17 is 15.1 oz with 17 rounds and the mags loaded with 16 rounds is only 2.7 oz ...
I use the mag loader, it works well.
The P17 seems easy enough to load, but my PMR30 mags are a little different. Okay - A LOT different, but with either one I just spent some time loading/unloading/reloading them and I got a pretty good system down.
Look in were your take down pen you have the you mess it up don't use that that to push out your take down pen now you're take down pen will not fit good now you made the hole is bigger now that screw you used your take down pen won't fit good it will come out on you
Read your safety book I can tell you didn't
Actually I did, but on that day I couldn't find my punch and I thought the screw was the right size. I was wrong. I found my punch, btw, so its all good.
My P17 broke after 300 rounds....not sure about the others.
Man, I am sorry to hear that. I can say that I've put over 300, probably closer to 500, through mine with only the occasional FTE. What ended up breaking, exactly? Is it a total wash or can you get it repaired?
@@snappertrx yes, I'll be sending it back this week. I'll let y'all know how they fixed it.
@nathanielwright1493 How do you mean? What's bad luck about that? 🤔
@nathanielwright1493 Ah, okay. I don't know if I got lucky, since I see more people with good reports on the P17 than I see bad reports, but you may be right!
WRONG LUBRICANT 😢
Yes, I've been told. I have since switched over to PROPER lubricant. 😂
i have been to GA and NC where its open carry and i have NEVER seen anyone open carry. I don't advise it and i would never open carry, Thats asking for Karens to start their sh*t with you or report you to a store manager OR asking for that 1 brave criminal to wait for you to be not paying attention before he moves in and tries to grab that gun. Not going to give anyone a chance, its concealed 100% of the time.
I see the argument about making yourself a target by open carrying a lot, and I can only see that being a problem where you might be the only person with a gun on their hip. Totally different if everyone is doing it. A guy wants to rob a place, if he sees one guy with a gun, yeah, he might think to hit that guy first. If everyone in the place has a piece strapped to their hip, he's probably going to go elsewhere. As for Karens complaining, who cares. Normalize open carry and eventually they will shut up. If it works for liberal policy, it will work for open carry.
@@snappertrx thats the problem, i dont see people open carrying. So if you are the only 1, then you are the target. I dont want to be that target and damn sure dont need a Karen opening her mouth.

It really is a great little pistol. I got mine stuck up by the side of the bed, atm. Walmart sells a nice gun magnet that fits the top slide just right for about $15. Goes right under the nightstand and right within reach!
Is it possible to get one with 12 inch barrel...???😊
No, but if you look up LuckyGunnerAmmo here on RUclips, he paid a tax stamp to have the barrel cut down to 10" so he could mount a supressor on there while maintaining the short profile. Looks really nice, but I don't want to deal with unconstitutional fees to the government, so I'm happy with the full barrel + the shroud/brake I bought from UnderworldArms.com.
Where did you buy your muzzle brake/barrel shroud?
Go to UnderworldArms.com. It wasn't very expensive and it looks great, as well as serving an actual function.
I carry my PMR30 off and on situationally on my job. ( In a chest rig, the weight makes it a blessing to carry at work ) but It’s loaded with MCarbo upgrades so it runs reliably and I can mag dump it all day. ( it’ll melt before if jams lol ). Going after the CMR shroud, thanks for UA link.
@@kjaxxn Mine has run reliably, but I haven't been able to do a mag dump. Will have to go to another range for that. Been thinking about that MCarbo upgrade kit, but have to concentrate my funds on fixing my truck! Still, it comes highly recommended, so it's been on my mind!
Hopefully you get them running reliably.

I had one years ago and couldn't get it to reliably do its thing. Traded it to my brother who just had to have it. It's not a family favorite. Doesn't work well for him either.😮
Yeah, I have heard varying reports, including that there are more than one generation of the pistol, with older generations having plenty of problems. So far I am impressed, though. Took it out the other day and put about 6 mags through it, all full 30 rounders, and had zero issues. I was going to make a little update video the other day but life got in the way. May try and record it and get it out tomorrow, though.

Nope, Floridian, officially now. 😆
@snappertrx lol lucky guy. I was just wondering about the magazine capacity here in canada. Then found out its 10 rounds because of our BS dictate or ship if you catch my meaning. Anyway man have a good day

It's pretty nice. I hope to do an update video here soon, but I have been busy working and moving, so a bunch of stuff has been packed up. Need another day at the range now that I've properly disassembled and cleaned it out!
The paddle mag release is my favorite feature.
Yeah, it's pretty nice and very tactile. Easy to find an use, and feels more intuitive than a button release.
I use my "BIRD" finger to drop the mag
Aren't you supposed to cock the PMR 30, before pushing the slide forward ? It kinda looked like you inadvertently did that, kinda by accident ? But seems I remember hearing it must be cocked, before disassembly ? 🤔....?
Yeah I believe so. I watched a video on it before I recorded this and was kind of going off of memory, but, yes, remove the pin, pull the slide back and then push it forward.
@@snappertrx I wasn't trying to step on your toes, by any means ! But I think that just stayed with me, not knowing a great deal about firearms, but found it odd that it has to be cocked, during take down ? Lol...! Of course, not a laughing matter......but ? Thanks for posting, and your reply ! Good luck with your future endeavors !
Poor Californians. They leave to be free and then say, “I should get someone to train me in how to be free, first…” 🤦🏼♂️ and you can sell them “50” rounds of 22lr for “$10-15” and it’s a deal 🤣. I’m sorry man but dang…
It's more a "personal responsibility" thing, but also, the ranges around here are actually pretty restrictive, so I can't practice drawing and shooting properly, which kind of sucks. At least in CA I could go out to the hills and shoot all I wanted, legally, and no one cared. So far I haven't found any public land I can shoot on here in Florida, but I figure the least I can do is take a proper training course and get the right technique and mindset down. The ammo thing is real, though. At least I don't have to do a background check for that box of 22 lr over here. 😆
@@snappertrx I know text can be deceiving so don’t take my razzing you too hard. I’m not against training, but I would want you and anyone that is level headed exercising their rights NOW. Too many people get talked out of carrying because they don’t have training. Just remember several active shooters have never had the military/LEO training and there are long lists of dead to attest to the fact that ANYONE armed is certainly more effective - stopping or starting the situation. The more of us carrying right now, the better, but I do hope you eventually find a place to bake in the muscle memory you’re seeking. 👍🏻
@@SecretSquirrel-et6dl Ha! No problem. I've started taking some walks with it so I can get used to how it sits and feels and doing drills at home so I can carry with confidence even before training. @@snappertrx my local gun shop will allow you to rapid fire IF you are the only 1 in there. Which i do get sometimes on Monday when i go shoot. The PMR30, but it is a much larger gun. Still, different applications, in my opinion, but the PMR is much more fun to shoot!
Hi Snapper, where did you find that barrel shroud with integrated brake? Been trying to find that online with little success.
It's at UnderworldArms. Just look under compensators and you will find the UA CMR-30 Muzzle Brake/Barrel Shroud. At $70, it's a steal and almost necessary if you want a little cool factor to go along with your rifle!
I bought one last year and didn't have much faith in it,this damn thing surprised the hell out of me totally reliable and accurate light hi capacity i carry mine full of federal punch,17 rounds of that in 2 seconds more than youll need
I've been sticking with the CCI, but, yeah, its very reliable and fun! I did have a couple of FtE's during my last range trip, but I completely blame that on myself. I need to get some of the Lucas extreme contact cleaner KelTec recommends, for a proper cleaning.
wouldnt the mini mag copper plated hollow point serve the same purpose as the federal punch ?? It is hollow pointed so it is supposed to spread open
Good job 👏 Better range than Miami-Dade 's .

No joke, it's been a good.gun! Both the C9 and the 4095! 😂 I did sell the carbine, though, to buy the CMR30.
Just picked up a P17 yesterday. So far super awesome gun, 300 rounds in. If you using this for CCW as I intend to do check out Federal Punch 22lr ammo, made for pistols and intended for defense. If you picked up a holster for this let me know what you got. I'm looking for one now but I'm unsure what to order.
Keltec has an IWB holster specifically for the P17 on their website now (look under Accessories), but I bought a small Tactical Defense holster for testing. It might not be ideal because its one of those simple compression type holsters, but it works well on my back. I'll likely order the one from the website when I order the red dot slide, since its cut to fit. At $42, it seems like a good deal. I've been told the Punch rounds are good, my only concern is they are 29 grain and Keltec recommends 40 grain or higher weight to cycle properly. I've shot as low as 36 grain (I think Winchester) and didn't have any issues, but my ammo stash is all 40 grain CCI.
Those federal punch have really excellent gel test results. I have a mag loaded of them for my p17 but I haven’t shot um yet.
@@snappertrxjust FYI, I grabbed the kit with p17 + red dot on slide + holster they came with.
