Yea PA Read is good from most sets when paired with an identical run concept. Its a favorite play from spread sets. That comeback route is a killer. This entire scheme is now in KC playbook for Madden 25.

Yea good eye.... The wheel route to the HB is 50/50. You just never know. Seeing this is what makes film study so great. Btw this entire scheme is now in the KC Chiefs Playbook for Madden 25.

@@KeltonAlexander That's wassup Big Dawg I'm in the lab right now as we speak. This scheme is now 100 % from the KC Chiefs Playbook in Madden 25 even down to the Gun Tight Open with the speed option.
You just elevated my claim as a deuce close demon in madden 25 found out that kanas city has all these formations so about to try this scheme out Edit: The Panthers playbook fits me better I can go deuce close from under center to pistol to shotgun then from tight doubles i can shift to all the deuce close formations can run all my base plays out of all those formations
@@djayreed Spot on Brother.... Sorry for the late response. I'm just seeing your comment. I'm glad someone found the scheme. It's entirety is in KC even down to the speed option which is a main component. No one else has that speed option. Detroit has about 80 percent of this scheme but its a tad weak without the speed option. Good stuff

@@kb1515ful I rarely use packages on defense. Probably because it ain't really a threshold among attributes besides stuff like speed. Every now and then I would flip Miles Garrett to the other side lol

Those plays were so hard to stop when schemed right. Most people just tried to abuse 2 plays and failed with it.

Yes indeed Bro. Back when I was playing ultimate team 2 years ago, abilities on my offensive line will be the first go to. And don't forget about threat detector and identifier.
That jab step and guard pull in power 0 is very lethal😤😤😤. Caught my opponent slipping many times. It’s kind of funny running the same formation for every down. Literally walking them down. But the key like you said is “think run first”. I threw in a couple of rpo to but qb (t lawrence) wasn’t fast enough on some of them. But that left side can be very open sometimes. Good stuff 👍🏾🫡.

Too many people roll out and miss reads because they follow “RUclips” plays. Yes, there are designed plays for rollouts but you don’t see QB’s roll out 95% of the time.

Great thoughts. I watched one replay a few days ago and the opponent of the RUclipsr was rolling out every play despite how bad the results were. He had an elite defense but his offense was shut down the minute the youtuber adjusted to his constant roll outs. The plays were not waggles or designed for leaving the pocket, but the player couldn't help himself. The middle linebacker user issue is big. 3REC is popular for that reason among better players, imo.
@@cyberpunkalphamale Yea rolling out every down is a bad habit. Play like that think that they are getting away but they are just getting by. I always implement RPOs and screens to the scheme to prevent broken plays out structure. You want to stay on script as much as you can.

@@zachschoenberg4474 you have to select the pistol Playbook when you're about to play a game. You can go to create a Playbook from the main menu but you won't see these sets because they are exclusive for alternate Playbooks such as Run and Gun, Spread Playbook, West Coast, and Run & shoot.

One tip - You can flip your read option by using the right stick (if the read option is to the left you can change it to the right) I have found a lot of success with this.

This Pistol scheme has so many layers to it - you have your verts, mid and short route combo's but want makes this deadly is the running with the Strong Power, Stretch, Slam, Dive, Counter and Read Options. I give dudes fits with this scheme in my Franchise..

Said a handful about All Madden. It is unforgiving for the smallest mistake. Also rewarding when you make the right calls, reads, and execution. It is so satisfying getting “W’s” with lesser QB’s.

Okay I noticed you said this is the way you play offense I guess you referring to base sets Ground and Pound, Smash mouth, West Coast style. I know NCAA is going to dominate RUclips but I do have one more scheme for you that is very similar to this. Different Playbook though and you can find it in the customs.

Coach KK! This is some of the best breakdowns I've ever found on YT. I found you as I'm trying to get my scheme head back for College Football Release. Thank you! Keep it up. You're going to blow up soon I know it. I'm going to try to stream/make videos too. But as a "old guy" coming back to football games I need some review. I've not played seriously since old NCAA stopped and Ultimate Team became the rage in Madden. But you got some good stuff here. Nice to get breakdowns from someone that actually knows what they are talking about. I love videos about REAL schemes! And not just making tip videos about glitches or broken things in the game.

We're originally from the spread Playbook with lots of schemes and philosophies. Non of the tricks and gimmicky stuff over here. Also, feel free to add any ideas to the schemes in the comments ✊.
