“Because some roads you shouldn’t go down. Because maps used to say, “There be dragons here.“ Now they don’t. But that don’t mean the dragons aren’t there.”
Jamie used the same move on Ned Starks right hand man as Ned did with Arthurs, as he was going for 1v1 with Ned. That always tripped my sensors. The ole knife through the face counter strike.
The eerie music that plays during all of this is the cherry on top for me. Intentional or not, the score conveys a surreal dreamlike quality that nicely references how we get this flashback in the books.
the Book explains how Ned Stark admired Ser Arthur Dane as he explained to Bran, the greatest Night, the most honorable Kingsguard he ever lived, and he ended up killing Ser Arthur which was sad moment for Ned ending the life of a man he greatly admired
Why would you even try to fight a dude who is dubbed 'the sword of the morning'. That's like a special boss battle in an rpg not even hiding he's just waiting for you to challenge him so you can die woefully. Dark Souls style.
Ned was still humble telling Sir Barriston his wife was happy they never had to cross swords - He respected the best but never backed down from a fight.
My wife was born and raised in a country in West Africa. When we traveled there the first time, for our tribal wedding, we paid $100 in advance for an "escort." Once the plane landed, we disembarked with everyone else, but at the door we were greeted by two young women who took us out of line and asked us for our passports. As we walked towards the checkpoint, everyone else was winding their way through a series of ropes in single file. Two young men collected our bags and followed us, while the young women asked my wife questions in her tribal language and filled out two cards. When we got to the checkpoint, the girls handed the cards and our passports to the guards and escorted us through. When we got outside, our family was waiting for us. We hugged and greeted everyone as the two young ladies came outside with our stamped passports, followed by the young men with our luggage. It took less than 3 minutes to get from the plane to our car, all the while I was never asked a single question. But damn, those other passengers were staring like we were celebrities or something. This service wasn't for everyone. My wife's family is pretty high up in their government, and the girls were her cousins who work at the airport. I literally felt anxiety, then relief, all the while a mild confusion and sense of wonder, as we passed through the checkpoint, and that seemed to be the same emotions Bobby was feeling in this scene.
So many seriously plot details that were raised here, and utterly discarded... Damn this show really dropped the ball, im still not over it, lol.
Ah yes the ol' sharpening with a rock
Is it only me or does this fight look really really corny?

James Norrington does not fear death...
You know your enemy is a legend when he is doing exhibition tricks with his two swords while he is completely surrounded.
Ned Stark was just a shit, nothing more.
Ned Stark got what he deserved since this. Man of Treason was a fact.
Real shame he didnt get more screentime. A spin off from earlier in the time line would have been good. HoTD didnt fill the void.
Ned nunca esteve aos pés nem mesmo de Jaime
it looks so cheap in 60fps, like some direct to DVD stuff
You cut off Taylor's great come back to that statement " young lungs"
This looks really "off" at 60 FPS? Anyone else?

cringe my god, must have had new writers after season 2
Sure Ned didn't kill Dayne but he made short work of that other dude.

Banger
Why do this dual heavy sword nonsense?
Is it me does Taylor sounds a bit like Bishop of Aliens
Always kill off the strong masculine characters
God this sucks
I didn't like the dual wielding for Dayne.
Best fighting scene ever ( by far )
Not very honorable to 4 v 1 tbh
Sorry but I'm with Bronn when it comes to 'honour' and 'dishonour' Lysa: "You don't fight with honour" Bronn:" No, he did"
this is 50fps.
GOT fans: It's better than other series Me: far better

Band of brothers baby
The best fight scene in the entire series.
The music is also well chosen
"Greed is good, Capitalism is great"- Also this guy😂
It’s worth mentioning that despite Dayne being “far better”, Ned lasted a lot longer than most guys, including his own posse.
Epic fight 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
The Rule of Two, Axel should know that if he watched the Star Wars Prequels.
I would have taken Mack too!
Elrond cheating
satan vilken kvalité!!
🥶
Best scene in the entire series easily
Darth Axelrod and his young apprentice 😂
Ned was still humble telling Sir Barriston his wife was happy they never had to cross swords - He respected the best but never backed down from a fight.
Jean pierre cutiri vera en las islas caiman lluvia de papel moneda y metal oro . ❤😂🎉 ❤😂🎉 ❤😂🎉
How dare that man stab Dayne from behind! ;)
"I wish you good fortunes in the wars to come ".
Can't imagine what it cost the producers to use that Dylan song. -C
This is what will happen to mexicans if Kamala wins the presidency.
