Correct, you need winter tires for this. Even then it would be difficult. But it's good marketing isn't it? ;)

If you guys honestly believe that it can go up a slope that steep with regular season tires, then your a moron. Look at other vids, you'll see how audi switches out the tires with some crazy ones to provide a lot more traction.

The wire is there so that when the car stops on the top, it does not slide back down. If you look at it closely you can see that the wire does not move at all, therefore it does not pull the car. Again, watch the video about the making of this...

i love audi, use to drive a SAAB 9-5 aero but then i bought an A6Q Quattro 2.4 and i´m never going back to saab.

I Love AUDIs... I own an A4 and I'm very proud of it.

and it all started with one of my favourite cars.. the audi quattro from 1981... a beutiful machine

just saw how they madde this thing took 3 tries... car made it up with skinny studdded tires....with the ones they show, it made it less than half way
