Hey everyone! I'm Wesley Brough. I grew up in Cabo San Lucas, MX and have been fishing the beaches of Baja for over 25 years. As the passion turns from fishing to filming some of the amazing scenes we run into on the beach; this channel was made to share in a unique and creative way what we all love about fishing the surf.
In a world of boring fishing videos, the goal is to give you guys content that is not longwinded and monotonous, but action packed and exciting edits that will get you stoked to get out there and want to fish the surf!
The cool thing about surf fishing is that you never know what you're going to get when you hit the sand in the morning!

Rooster Days In Cabo
A few weeks ago the Rooster bite was so on 🔥🔥 that Matt Neustadter (my omni-video talented socal brother) decided to fly down for a few days to capture some of what was going on.
After a few mornings and evenings of fishing hard, and late night gear talk sessions with Angel @bajapacificafilms (video-talented Cabo brother) we captured all the epicness! 🙌
Then Matt went home, vision in mind, and did what Matt does; went into his cave and began to CREATE!!
Here is a quick window into our days together through the eyes of @matt_neustadter and @rarebreed_films.

After Ryan losing his big Rooster last year at hands reach, this fish was his redemption catch! It was awesome that I managed to hook one of my own as well! These are such incredible fish and there’s nothing better than the feeling of hooking and landing one of these guys with you feet in the sand and getting them back in the water strong!

Is that a pretty rare catch for down there? I've surf fished the Baja on 3 trips now. The last trip one of your clients talked you up quite a bit. I've been planning a trip to NZ to catch some "kingies", I didn't hear anybody talk about catching them in the Baja though.

awesome videos mate! I'm actually making a trip out to Cabo end of this year. I surf fish in San Diego with a max 30 lb braid. Would you recommend me gearing up 40 or even 50 pound braid for your kind of surf fishing? The fish there just look bigger :D

I am headed to Cabo this summer. I have some surf fishing experience in Texas. We do not do alot of casting.. Mostly run bait rigs. My surf rods are more designed for stationary type fishing. Can you advise on a good rod/reel combo for casting on the beach in Cabo?
