Dear Tasos. Many thanks for your kind comment and season greetings. Unfortunately Maldives customs wanted 17 % customs duty of both my drone and the remote controller which would each be well over the USD390 allowed in to the country, So I did not take my drone with me and could only film with my Sony camera and the gimbal equipment. And when I leave the country with me gear I would not get any money back.

@@thelning Dear Tony, that’s really unfortunate about the customs duty! It must have been frustrating not being able to use your drone, especially in such a stunning location like the Maldives. That said, your Sony camera and gimbal work did an amazing job capturing the beauty of the place! Hi Tasos. Thank you very much for your reply and kind words. On another note. Now back from holiday. The hotel we stayed at in the island Kos had to evacuate in the middle of the night due to the fires. Then we were brought by busses to a huge football place where there was over 3000 people and later to a basket ball place where we slept over night inside on the hard floor. Luckily the fire got under control and we could go back to the hotel again and continued or holiday. This was an experience we will never forget.

@@TasosFotakis Yes I totally agree with you Tasos. This was unforgettably and interesting for sure. Otherwise we had a fantastic holiday and we always love the Greek places and friendly people. Great weather and blue sky's every day it could not have been better.

Hi Tasos. Many thanks for your kind comment. You have about 30-40 years to visit before the islands may disappear when the Antarctica and Arctic start melting, as the islands are only about 1.2 -1.5m above the sea level. Just jump on your Avata2 and fly down he he he.......

Unfortunately I do not have any information about the previous owner or his name any longer. The only thing I know is what the name Koo-ee-lung stands for and is meaning in Aboriginal "a place from where you can see the dolphins" Sorry that I am unable to assist you any further unless you have some specific questions.

The cost depends a lot on what type of villa you want and if all inclusive or full board and how long you want to stay. Depending on where you are living, you can either use a travel agent or visit the Meeru web site and select what you want. I visited in December. Jan, Feb, March are the most expensive months, but also less rain. It is always safe to visit Maldives.

@@thelning is it advisable to visit during April end by considering weather ☁️ ?

Beginning to mid April is normally OK. But to be safe is best to look at Yearly Maldives Weather on the internet@@oldmonk2925

Hi fishwatcher, thanks you very much for watching my old video. Yes, I think all fish are sleeping. Unfortunately they do not have any eyelids, so you do not see that they are a sleap. But you can see that they are not swimming and just slowly drifting around. You can hold them in your hand and then let them float away. Parrot fish eat the coral and they create the sand that we have on the beaches by crunching the coral bits that come out as coral sand. All the very best and enjoy your snorkelling.
