For the recording device, the audio sounds absolutely amazing.. one of the 1000 plus reasons I love Coheed and Cambria. They nail it 1000 percent every single. time with pure intensity. and deliver probably better live. even after 20 years.

the very first time this song was ever recorded was in 1967 by Bob Dylan....The Band recorded it in 1968 for the "Music from Big Pink". Both of you are right in your own way. Dylan wrote and recorded it first, but Coheed covered the Bands version....everyone get it now? Hope I was some help, even if it's 6 months after the fact! :-)

Yeah, also, depending on where you pre-ordered from, Skyroo (the company you pre-order off Coheeds page through) says on their tracking pages that they'll ship on or around the 19th, so it's quite possible you could get it earlier.

Do you know if we get it ON the 24th if you pre-ordered, or if it will only be made AVAILABLE on the 24th? My boss gave me the 24th off for some reason. I thing it is fate. I never once mentioned it to her, but I got my schedule today and I had it off! How amazing is that?

The good thing about it, though, is all the additional material. Imagine it. You saw the newest preview--they showed pictures of old Shabutie/Coheed! I bet they put a ton of stuff from the old days on there. Think of all the stuff that can be added in 21 days.

I believe Coheed and Cambria to be the New Testament of Music. Claudio is the Messiah. Every single Co&Ca song contains such a meaningful complexity that makes all other songs these days look like single rift singalongs. This band is amazing, and I will fight you IRL if you don't acknowledge that they are in fact one of the greatest bands of all time.

For small bands with no money, definitely. However, a band like Coheed has several guitars/basses in different tunings ready to go. When they need to play in a different tuning, they have a tech or roadie hand them the proper guitar and put the old one back on the rack. So in that case, it takes about three seconds. I'm still sticking with my original conclusion

Clarify what the core of the dispute is. Are you just arguing about what version Coheed's is influenced by? If that's the case, then you're right. Coheed's version is obviously influenced by The Band's, they're vocal style on it is just like Richard Manuel's on Big Pink. Good stuff. The first recording of the song was from Bob's "Basement Tapes," recorded with the Band. I love the song, love all these guys.
