If Frank and Pablo were not born 70 people would be added to the death toll of this incredible tragedy occurring where there is no hope to survive. People go into shock and can't think under stress. These 2 men were magical creatures. Sooooo sorry they couldn't save themselves as well. 😞😞😞💖💖💖💖💖💖

What a fantastic story! I was totally absorbed by this video from start to finish. Very well done! It's always been interesting for me to see how people respond in crisis situations. Some people break down while others like Frank & Pablo rise to the challenge and display exemplary virtue and courage. As one of the survivors said the day of 9/11/01 in NYC brought out the best in a lot of people which inspired me because it showed that true greatness is still very much alive in people of the USA when push comes to shove. Whoever made this video should get an award. It was simply awesome in every respect!

the dramatization narration is eztended and slow as if they're trying to stretch it....to build up suspense...get to the point...its like theyre trying to get you hyped...this is not a hollywood fictional drama...this happened in real life...and we would appreciate to understand for empathy's sake, not for drama

This documentary was released by different person/org before. Because I always re watch it on anniversary each year. But then, it disappeared. So glad I found it again. It is again saved in my favourites folder. So many years gone by, two decades, and it is still as shocking, terrifying and heart breaking as it was on a day it happened. I am in Australia and completely by accident our tv was still on late at night, so we stayed up nearly whole night and watched it till the bitter end. Thank you for posting this amazing documentary back again.

Frank De martini and Pablo Ortiz will forever be heroes. Not all heroes wear capes or uniforms. I'm sure Frank and Pablo themselves were scared of what was happening, but they knew they had to do what needed to be done to save those they could. R.I.P heroes.

Rescue 1 joined with Rescue 3, also if my former cross country/track&field team had a volunteer fire department and I was the captain of it I would boot the chief’s test to please my maternal grandfather then be promoted twice to battalion chief I would skip the deputy chief promotion and be the battalion chief for quite some time while my brother would be a deputy chief from a captain
