I like it since I am a Boise State fan. Boise State is a very dangerous G5 team to play in major bowl games. They have been ranked top 5 before going into bowl season, an have beaten P5 teams in the major bowls. As it is, I do not like how they ranked these teams. The time when Boise State beat Oklahoma in the Fiesta Bowl? They were ranked in the top 5. People complained back then for them having the bowl slot instead of a P5, and Boise State proved that they can beat a P5. They complained they had a weak schedule. Every conference have weak schools and strong teams. It is not differences with Boise State. The SMU/Penn State winner better not take Boise State as an easy win. Oregon can tell you that they are 1-3 against Boise. Boise is finally getting a 3rd seed is around where they would be ranked when they beat Oklahoma in the Fiesta. I just don't think SOS argument this year is working because of the NIL and the portal have made college football in a chaos.
