You two are part of a very select Star Trek crew that have shaped and defined the series in ways the newer shows haven't. I felt the idea of a Star Trek ship lost in space making its way back home was the ultimate ST experience. Kate, you are one of my favorite Captains with Sir Stewart. You two made the captains of the Enterprise and Voyager real, alive, human, and as close to what I would expect them to be then. Particularly, you did a splendid job at being on track, tough, and human without making it look corner. You are a great actrice as I've seen in other shows and in plays. Robert, I spoke with you at a Star Trek convention in Long Beach. You seemed surprised when I said I was impressed with what you did with The Doctor character. You walked a fine line, as Spinner knows he did with Data. And that voice! But most of all, you are part of a few who have given many engineers a reason to go for it. A few years ago, I was at NASA's Ames center and noticed the 2022 crew was over 60% women. One of them said she came from a farm in Arkansas. OK, so it wasn't Indiana 😄. You two have touched and shaped the lives of many. I still watch Voyager today. The newer ones are too overly dramatic. TOS, TNG, and Voyager nailed it for me, and DS9 close behind.
