Nicely Done! Very Nicely Done!!!. I loved the regular guy approach to this. It was great when you said to make a measurement and a cut you pointed to the actual end and point of the board to reference when so many others I've seen just blab "cut 10 inches from end". I'm like what end, what point? Nice bench. I will try one, you 30 mins, me 30 days!!! I might round of that corner at the top of the legs and I think raising up the 2 back rest pieces a few inches so that you can put a curve or curves on the top board which would give it a different look. Maybe even some scroll cut out designs in the back rest pieces. Just my 2 cents, easy for me to say after you had built it. Nicely Done! Very Nicely Done!!! Thank you!!!!!!!

I bought what they call a small pet tent and sat the rear of my miter saw in it. Captures at least 95% of the dust and is flexible enough to pivot for 45 degree cuts. If I remember it was about $20 on amazon. Once every couple of weeks I suck it clean with a hose from the central vac. Good part is my saw is on a rolling base so the tent just comes along.

Looks great. How long can the seat & back boards be cut before a third leg is required?

Thanks. I would think you would be able to go out to 5-6' without a third leg. Most picnic tables are made from 2x6 lumber and they span about 5'. You might want to put a small brace under the seat portion to help keep the boards together better. Thanks for watching and I hope this helps. Have a great night.

You really shouldn't claim this the sturdiest on RUclips. The way you assembled it was way harder than it should have been.

I know there are easier ways to assemble these and several people do show how to do it that way. I prefer to assemble them this way because it does improve the overall strength of the build. Thanks for watching and I hope you have a great day.
