I started this book in the summer of 2023 after playing through volume one. I was frustrated after the first couple pages, went back and played through volume one a couple more times. In mid-July I started again on volume two. I stumbled again, but kept going and am now up to Voyage en Arctique. I just listened to the entire second half again. My piano teacher had asked me if I wanted to record her playing the songs but I showed her your channel. She was impressed with your playing and we will be working on these pieces. And I’ve put in an order for volumes three through five. I’ll look at your other videos when the time comes. Merci beaucoup from Western Switzerland. I started playing the piano at 65, I just turned 68. I wish I would have started when I was your age.

I just stumbled across this. Out of my pay grade since I just started the second volume. But I won’t be long.

I had started on Volume Two over a year ago but the first several songs proved to be a stumbling block. My piano teachers this week helped me to put one foot in front of the other and now I’m making progress again. Your playing improved throughout this journey. Well done, Bravo.

Thank you very much for recording these pieces from the John Thompson course book. I started the journey of learning to play the piano without a teacher approximately a year ago. Worked through Alfred's All-in-one Book 1. Faber Adult Piano Adventures book 1(just started book 2.) Have method books by Leila Fletcher & Schaum et al but I find the Thompson book the most challenging & instructive of them all. Your work here definitely helps me play them as they were meant to be played. Much appreciated!
