Yeah, it sucks that the Targets around my way have basically turned into libraries. When I took a trip to Los Angeles for the L.A. Comic-Con earlier this month, their Target only had one Despicable Me cardboard standee that housed all of the available movies. That's it. I'm glad they at least have the option for movies on the store website tho. It's just better to have instant access in-store, so you can physically see the quality of product before you get it. Walmart and F.Y.E. are our last hope for in-store physical movies and shows. Even then, Wal-Mart tends to slack on new releases.

I have an extensive dvd and cd collection that I've been adding to since the 90's. My field of interest in mainly 70's and 80's movies and music. Lately some of the relatively (un)obscure titles have risen drastically in price and I'm talking $70 to $80 converted. I feel like today's consumer is being bamboozled by the streaming platforms and the industry. Censorship and unwanted edits are a problem too. What a weird time we live in.

Legitimately. Why is this _"insane"_ or _"WTF"?_ It's 2024 and the VASTE majority of humanity is streaming now. Even the most remote places on earth have cellphone access now and often phones are given away free in many underserved areas. These are businesses and they are not making enough profit from the slow drip of people who buy these things, versus the cost of the actual shelf space. Things are not great in the world right now, times are tough, and it was gonna happen eventually. And if you had asked me years ago: I wouldn't be shocked if some of the outlets shut off the entire fosset at once.. as Target apparently has. I love Surge Soda, Sqeezits, Fruit Strip gum and the Pizza Hut Big New Yorker... but at some point they stopped making them because they didn't sell well enough. Minority customers rarely justify these markets in the general consumer space. Anyone who says _"Physical Media is alive and well"_ are delusional. Yes, Physical Media IS alive... and it's on life-support. If 2007 is the definition of "well", the current market is a bed ridden patient on life support. Explaining to people that they can loose access to their content is also pointless, because your not clever and talking people things they _"don't understand..."_ People totally understand, and they don't care. They are not attached to these things like you. They don't feel they need to hoard this content. It's a 'experience' for them and they move on. You are probably around my age (40) and we grew up in a world before DVDs and Blu-ray, when VHS tapes where very expensive so 90% of people rented. And there were video rental stores EVERYWHERE. It was a lucrative business because people were conditioned by TV and theaters to pay to see a film or show and then not have access again. Streaming is just that for the newer generations. And since most people don't care and prefer the ease of access and not having to hoard physical media and player - things like this are happening to the mainstream brick and mortar stores. You'll soon need to purchase your films from mom and pop and specialty sites like retro gamers are doing right now.

My review: Pure shame. Nothing was good about this movie. All of them: very bad acting and writting. the story sucks and there are many things here that reminds me the failure of the movie of 'the munsters'', with extra super bad acting, no story, nothing. This is a VERY bad movie. Watching it, obliterating the original movie was a 100% shame.....they should be horse wiped.

I thought the movie was ok, but michael keaton seemed almost bored in that role sadly. Might have been better off as a tv show where they could do more with the extra time compared to a movie

This movie was so BLOODY FUN! The actress of Abigail was insanely good and the movie was so funny. I has an absolute blast with it and cannot wait to watch it again. Going to be apart of my halloween viewing for years to come for sure.

I just hope the channel doesn't starting to drift away from the format. I've seen some good channels go downhill when they start breaking format. Usually late night infomercials and public domain stuff. When the court room shows start airing it's pretty much over. MeTV has been pretty good about resisting that trend.
