Faced with the extreme water requirements, as well as methane production and climate change should you be promoting livestock as food ? I fail to see the connection between TNC's stated objectives and their on the ground policies. For you folks it seems to be more about what you can do to make money while not alienating potential supporters than what is best for the land, the cliimate and native species dependent on your land. I recently had a career forester tell me TNC is just as bad any consumptive land use agency out there.....TRUE ?
