Introducing the Stormwater Heatmap
What if we could see where pollution was generated across the entire landscape? What if we could identify hotspots of pollution in our region before it entered natural waterways? How might we change our approach to stormwater and pollution management so that people and nature can thrive? By making the invisible visible the Puget Sound Stormwater Heatmap is designed to help communities take targeted, high impact action on rolling back a legacy of pollution.

Five years later, a neglected parking lot has transformed into vibrant urban agricultural land and a leading example of how green stormwater infrastructure can be implemented at the community level. I play this video every year for my 6th grade students in Redmond WA. We have a unit about how rain gardens help keep pollution out of Puget Sound and this is far and away the best video to help them make all the connections including that this is their home town. Please never remove this video from RUclips! Thank you:)

April 2020. We are in the middle of a global pandemic and the alarmists are running full steam ahead trying to secure their funding and agenda. Ocean acidification from C02 is BS scare tactics. These hard working folks need a market to sell their product right now not additional BS fears of future calamity.

Faced with the extreme water requirements, as well as methane production and climate change should you be promoting livestock as food ? I fail to see the connection between TNC's stated objectives and their on the ground policies. For you folks it seems to be more about what you can do to make money while not alienating potential supporters than what is best for the land, the cliimate and native species dependent on your land. I recently had a career forester tell me TNC is just as bad any consumptive land use agency out there.....TRUE ?
