I am adding a vertical height gage to the spindle And adding a 1/10th indicator to it. The reason for that is the wheel is only marked for .0005 thousands.

Lead screw was a real challenge, first time cutting acme threads.The new brass nut is finished. and it is time to finish putting the surface grinder back together.

The T bolts for the compound were starting to strip the threads, so will be making T nuts for Allen head cap screws to hold the compound. some lathe and mill work and case hardening in this video.
