the sparse tips on the eye brushes.... reminds me of the hakuhodo kebo line .. these are going to pick up less pigment, and will be able to effectively diffuse any harsh areas... I'll probably end up picking these up since I appreciate the mentioned qualities....

Thank you for the great review of these new Rephr brushes. I would use the face brush for loose powder because the tip area can be used for more precise pick up than with a round or paddle brush and enable application on specific areas of the face such as under eyes, hairline and t-zone - the entire brush can then be used to buff and blend. I am not sure that I would use the eye brushes. Thanks again.

thanks for the video. I've been loving this angled shape for bronzer application, I use the Chikuhodo/Bobo and WG versions of this shape for that mostly.

I particularly love that handle! At that length bristles it really is moving from cheek brush to face brush territory. And your video does show how the squirrel bristles are higher than the goat bristles, if not all of them then at least some. So it’s a bit like the Koyudo premium series. And lol, so they did manage to keep it under $100… just!! Those eye brushes are so interesting. They’ve kind of made them like stippling brushes, which I’ve never heard of in eye brushes 😻

3D ‘s are good for blush and bronzer or all over powder. Something this airy and large would be better for all over powder or. Blown out blush/bronzer. It’s going to be a pass for me but this is a great price! Don’t love that they just say “squirrel” cuz in the fude community, we’re more specific 😂

As someone who mainly uses only cheek products and bronzer not that much powder what brushes do you recommend? I was thinking between the F1342 or one of the round blush brushes.

Great video Nikki!! Congrats on having a wonderful getaway trip!! It is needed once ina. While !! I need a getaway from everyday life . The custom 10 blue fox brush is perfection !! I love it !! Great size and density and very versatile! It’s so soft and silky! First blue fox. Then I got the bobo blue fox one and that it so so soft and silky ! They are both blue fox but different you know ! But I love them both ! I was using my 10 for a month straight ! I could not put it down! And I have a ton of fude as well. Never can go heavy handed I feel like ! Ooo what’s the numbering for red fox ssl!! Looks really nice ! ❤😊

This SSL brush was the first Chinese brush I ordered, but unfortunately they put a freebie in with it that the shipping company wouldn’t take, so I’ve re-ordered it and it’s been shipped now and is on its way. But I made use of the coupon sale anyway getting some Xia Cai Tang pine squirrel, lynx/goat brushes, and weasel brushes. I’m not even sure if I will buy this next Sonia G brush set now.

Love your custom brush designs. Have a bunch of them already. Got the blue for one. Was going to get the latest with this sale but decided to go for the bobo owl saikoho/silver fox brush on pre-order.

Nice to see your recent hauls! I haven’t managed to get the red squirrel cheek brush, nor the kolinsky brushes, they just sell out so quickly. The only one I could have got was the updated version of the big eye brush, but I actually really wanted the OG design instead.

How are you liking the flat top Kolinsky brush from QLG? I’m debating between that one or the one with the rounded edge!❤

Just finished watching it !! So many great comparison !! Been a while since you uploaded. ! I really did my like my set! I love the aesthetics of the handle and the coloring on them. Love how they look so traditional but yet so unique and luxe . And seeing the rarer hair type mixes was a no brainer to me. I really do love my smudger and I have compared it to the yoshiki red tail squirrel that bobo created and I have the qlg red squirrel smudger and a few others and they all seem to have a gap 🤷‍♀️so knowing that I loved my koyudo red tail and the Sonia g being so similar I was okay with it and I know I read somewhere that it was intentional otherwise there wouldn’t be much of a movement and for under eye smudging I want some movement. If you want it for the top lid, then maybe that may be an issue and you won’t like it as much. My other favorite brush is the yellow Canadian pencil. Love the size and el goth . Usually pencil brushes are chubby and short and this one is narrower and longer. I love it so much . And as for the mix up of yellow Canadian and red squirrel , I personally see a difference . Idk for sure but the color is a bit different and the texture. The yellow is sleek and straight and has more resilience. Red squirrel is all sleek and straight but it’s a bit finer and no spring back really. Just my observations . Someone with more knowledge can chime in and correct me if I’m wrong . Anyways great video. Love all the comparison. My two favorite for myself is the smudger and the pencil brush for sure. But they are all nice in their own way. The only thing that I didn’t like about Sonia g is the fact that she hasn’t made a post about the smudger when so many people complaining. She should have made a video or post saying it was intentional for such reasons and explain her point or view. Other than that she did a great job and I’m happy with my purchase

I’ve just got my RRC-2 and I’m impressed about the quality. I have the 2 of Z-1 and 2 of Z-8 brushes. And can say the RRC-2 is not much coarser than the Z series brushes. But the price of RRC-2 is great and it’s the great travelling brush for me. I also compared the RRC-2 with the Wayne Goss Air brush and the last had more drier hairs to me.
