Joes any O video
Добавлен 11 ноя 2011
I just like making videos. Critters, cars, trucks, construction, having fun, working etc. Mostly critters running through the backyard.
shedweek3
This is probably the last video of the shed/barn build. Small chance of the floor being poured.

This is a little strange as a trailcam capture. First part of the video is as always. Critters in the yard. At the end are still's taken with the Browning. There is no light source. Except the cams own. The Browning is about 36 inches above ground level. Any ideas?

Not very long but you have to wonder where they go or come from.

Teardown of a shed to make room for a new larger one. Captured using a Gardepro trailcam. There will be more of the build to come.

Think a possum can fit into a two inch hole? Let's find out.
1st snow ego
Просмотров 83 месяца назад
EGO 2 stage has been sitting in the shed for 2 years seeing no snow. Yesterday there was almost six inches of wet snow dropped into the yard. The EGO, at night, when the snow wasn't frozen moved it without a problem. Of course there is no night time video. Today now that its all turned into frozen snow I got the EGO out. Had to move wind rows left from a snow plow. Except for not very good trac...
It's a very nice heavy timber framed construction, is it?
4x4 walls
Joes, it's a very nice build. I like it!
lot;s of useable space
Thanks for sharing your movies. I was on USS Hanson DD832 out of San Diego 66_68 on our way to Yankee Station. Many memories.
Thanks for coming on the ride.
USS Lang (FF-1060) <------------------My Ship
thanks for riding along.
I was on USS VANCE DER 387 1959-1960. I and two other high school classmates joined the Navy together, boot camp together, all got orders to VANCE together. One of us has passed away, the other and I are still in contact.
Thanks for the view. Just checked Vance's DB and didn't see your name posted. I looked for Lauie. Would you please go to ussvance.com and make a log entry. Leaving yours, your two buddies names also. Just to keep the ships roster close to being accurate. Thanks, Joe webmaster ussvance.com
It was a Rabbit 🐇.
Possible. But the cam is 3 feet off the ground and the cam face reflection. Its the reflection that's strange. There is nothing but open ground for 20 feet then brush.
It's a waste of time
Thanks for sharing, Joe. My ship USS Brister DER 327 was one of several DER's (Destroyer Escort Radar Picket) ships who cruised together from Pearl Harbor to Vietnam in March 1965. Each DER became area commander for a zone of the coast of Vietnam.
Glad you enjoyed the trip. I made three of those runs back and forth.
Powerful machine- great job Sir 😇
Thanks and thanks for the "sir"
me when i see bro (its been an hour)
I thought that was in 1961, or did in happen twice
I wasn't on the 397 and this is the information received from Dale.
Can you please identify where the film breaks at each location? Guam I think I know, and Hong Kong I know, but I can't tell where Taiwan starts and ends and Viet Nam starts. Thanks for any help.
Been a long time and I didn't shoot the film. However, 748 is Taiwan with the Dragon. I'll pass your question onto Ed to see if he remembers.
@@487joe Okay thanks so much, Joe. Please tell Ed I really enjoy this film, I have watched it more than once. Little known history, great photography, great music, too.
@@maltaconvoy ERd, is checking the org box the roll of film came in. Hoping to find the dates and places. If he finds it it'll be posted.
@@487joe Thanks a bunch, Joe. 🙏🏻
We just purchased a homestead and with it came a Gravely Professional 10. We are unfamiliar with the machine. Any suggestions on getting it started or an operational manual fir the controls. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Have a great day! 🇺🇸
Bill you've got a sweet machine. The best for part I have found is Richards Gravely 1-800-827-4551. DK tractors and stuff rebuilds. As for the controls there are just forward and back, hi/low and PTO. If it doesn't have a key then it is a pull start. Which I know nothing about. Good luck with it.
My Dad was stationed on the USS Finch DE 328 during WWII, I myself, prefer Cruisers! '75-95!
you don''t know what you've missed!
What port is that 9:20 to 10:20? Hong Kong?
Yes Sir it is. Spent many weeks there as station ship.
@@487joe Excellent video, excellent music. Thanks so much for this.
Your video brings me back to the time period when I served on the South Vietnam Navy HQ-1 (USS Camp converted to the South VN navy in 1971). Thanks for sharing!
Glad you liked it. The guy who built the RC model was in the Army. Looking for something different to build.
😢
Its going to a good home... Hard to admit but the solid attachment are much to much for me to handle.
I enjoy the video, it also reminded me of Navy days. Also all my time was East coast, USS Macon CA 132 and USS Forrest Sherman DD 931.
I never saw the East Coast. Went from Brainbridge to Hawaii in 65 to Vance.
I was on USS crusty crab when my ship CO SpongeBob got loc'd out on shermstick(PCP) and needing some old fashioned buttbanger action he found a newbie sleeping in his rack when he had been posted for firewatch This CO butt raped him with no condom or KY jelly then made this dumbass ksuck the shit off his dick when he busted his nut

U. S. S. VANCE. Once Commanded By LCDR Marcus A. Armheiter. You Have To Read That Story.
Thanks for the tip. But don't have to read the book I was on board! You can find MAA stuff on ussvance.com. Thanks for writing.
Super!!!
Mate where can i order tractor and mower
They haven't made these for years. Try e-bay or other site.

Hey there Pineapple Fleet sailor.....you've brought a grin to my mug. Most everything brought back memories and i just felt 50+ years younger. Hele On Brah....mahalo.
Thanks for jumping onboard
Great video thank you 😊 ❤
thanks for watching
Same ports when I was in the navy 😊
Funny how that happens, Dennis. Thanks for watching
Oh deer...
That's just what its looking for
Looks good what was the total cost for something like that?
#samuel velez About 1200 bucks a lot of years ago
Very nice! I bought a 1990 Pro 10 last fall and it works well. I saw the video of you sh=owing your grandson how to change attachments and mow. I hope you are both doing well.
#4SL thanks. The grandson is now a foot taller than me and still has all his toes. These are hard machines to kill. I've had mine under water. Drained and refilled the oil a few times and it still runs years later. I wasn't paying attention when backing near a stream...
Fjiuhhh .. 😢, 😅😅😅Zzz jj. ...
I'll pay you by the hour to mow my grass.
Damn Squids! We bitched about it at the time but we will never forget it.
Dave I must have been one of the strange ones; I liked it! Thanks for watchin.
Good job, Joe! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching MN
My son just finished his A school in Pensacola now hes in Oceana naval AFB finishing C school. Hell be an aircraft mechanic on the Gerald R. Ford. The newest carrier. Super proud of my boy. We both are war buffs and military memorabilia collectors. Hes living OUR dream as we speak. So proud of him and super jealous at the same time..GO NAVY !
And proud you should be! Thanks for watching.
Excellent 👍
Thanks for watching

your guess is as good as mine
Exelent
Glad you liked it frank. Machine still runs great.
Unless provoked, Coyotes are afraid of humans. Right?
Are these wolves or coyotes? Are there wolves in the area? Love.Wolves & Coyotes
These are coyote. As far as I know there are no wolves in the area.
Love Coyotes. #ProtectCoyotes
Be nice if they took a rabbit or two.
it is normal that the first shear pin in the front always breaks?
No it isn't normal to break. Going into a hard packed bank or ice to fast will (could) cause the breaking. In the long run its better to change a pin. Just don't put a heavier pin in its place. Then you would be looking for trouble. Run the blower flat out for best results.
Love Coyotes. Love Wolves
I like the three stage design. I've had that snow blower's 28" two stage Columbia (made by MTD) brother since 2010. Still looks and runs like new. Model 10528PC with the 357cc engine. I've used non-ethanol gas in it since day one. Great engine. The thing is a hungry animal in deep snow. Powers right through it. The engine is a torque monster. Mine still starts first pull. It had a surging problem which was annoying but didn't affect its snow blowing. I fixed it by drilling out the pilot jet with a #74 drill (0.0225") held in a pin vise. donnyboy73 has a great video on how to do that. Other than that, with normal preventative maintenance for a snow blower, anti seize on the axles, oil changes, etc. it's been trouble free.
Impressive work. Gave mine to my daughter, so don't know how it is doing. Thanks for the information though.
I really miss the days of my youth. I have a lot of good memories. Thanks for posting this video Joe and bringing those good memories forth.
Glad to have helped, Dennis
I really enjoyed the Shell Back initiations. I am a Shell Back and fondly remember my initiation aboard USS Midway CVA-41.
What does the rating "SO" designate?
Capon was a second class sonarman SOG2
@@487joe Thanks Joe. I googled it but couldn't get an answer or maybe I missed it.
@@denniswhite166 try a military site next time, Dennis.
May I ask what inspired you to build a model of this particular ship?
BTW - This model is fantastic. The detail is amazing. The fact that it actually sails and swivels its guns and shoots is over the top realistic! I was half expecting the asroc to fire and bring a damaged model sub to the surface!
Spinning radar antennae are the icing on the cake. I can imagine myself in CIC glued to a scope!
I did not build this RC Vance. It was built by Steve Bucanan from Florida. He builds RC ships and was tired of the standard fair. He contacted me and I talked him into the Vance build. I sent him ship plans and he talked with the crew. The only thing he added which was not on the ship. Was the launcher on the fantail. Other than that and the speed of the model even the sounds and smoke color are as it should be.
@@487joe If you are still in contact with Steve please convey my greatest congratulations on this astounding model. BTW I stood aft lookout watches on the island of the USS Midway - the stack gas would give me sore throats - that's what I thought of when the Vance started spewing smoke.

a day before this at least two coyotes were scrapping. Just out of cam range but you could hear them. This is probably one of them.
