@@baekminwit I think my frustration has to do with how saturated youtube is with them -- one very popular group had 36 reactions to one of their less popular songs. It's like different marketplaces -- there is so much out there, it becomes difficult to find what you want and to select the best item. So many reaction videos on youtube -- and some might actually teach you something about the song, the melody, rhythm, writing, etc -- but those are often buried under reactions that don't offer anything new, because there are so many. Guess you are right, though, I just need to ignore them.

fromis_9 means "FROM Idol School" (the survival show where they came from) and 9 because they're 9 in the first place (not until Jang Gyuri left to pursue her dream to be an actress), it also means "from is 9"

The group name fromis_9 came from 'from Idol School' which was a survival show in 2017. There were 9 members, Jang Gyuri left the group to pursue her acting career last year (She left on good terms). So now the group continues to promote as 8 members but will always be 9. Thank you for your honest reaction. You should check out the album if you have free time, it is actually getting a lot of praise for it as their first full album after 5 years.

Chaconne is a type of musical composition often used as a vehicle for variation on a repeated short harmonic progression. If you hear it closely (with decent speakers or earphones) the chaconne instrumental is playing during the chorus part. You can search up “chaconne batch” for reference. It basically sounds like an orchestra mainly with violins.

They have 3 tittle track (including this one), and all of them will have MVs (may23: But I Like You, may26: One and Only, may30: Serenade), they don’t have bside on their single album debut called ’WHO!’. But BOYNEXTDOOR’s official debut is on May 30th. Three of the members participated in making the lyrics of this song “But I Like You” and another song “Serenade”, they also participate in produce the MVs. All of the MVs were filmed in LA.
