Rest in Peace Mr. ZImmerman
Wait he's dead😱😱😱 That who did I see live a month ago
I've just started making play lists and this is the first entry on the one I call my "real folk" list. He was the perfect conduit for musical energy.
The Master at work❤
So entrancing when he sings 🎉
Great version❤
That „remastering guy“ must have been quite a guitar fan. The voice is so much in the background …. it seems to be accompanying the guitar.
i did my best bro its not a high quality recording, and two guitars are playing
@@whitleyrobinson244 love the guitars
Joan
it's like the pre-heartbreak and ensuing bitterness still in love with her 'just like a woman'
Epic quartet: Dylan,Waites Stewart and Crocker would make dogs howl for miles.
אני אוהבת איך שאתה מפרק לי את הלב

There is nothing more beautiful than you being you and allowing God to breathe His life in you to share yourself with others, in truth and love. There is no higher calling for anyone….❤
Where she leads me i do not know Well she leads me where she go I can't find her nowhere. Well she needs me here All aware i just can't hear her walk I just can't hear her talk Though sometimes you know you will. And when she comes my way I'll just be there standin' any night and day I will hear her say that i don't really try I tried, also cried But i cant leave her behind. (then replay of "verses" 2 and 3) North British Station hotel, Glasgow UK - 19.may.1966 SWINGIN' PIG restaured audio version (youtube june 16, 2021) ... and i just can't wait for you i can't just ... i ... my discontent And i walk, where she leads me i do not know Well she leads me where she goes I can't find it no way Whenever she comes by It makes me hurt to see her cry ... I just can't ride But i can't say some ... But i can't leave with her behind. Like you might think it's foolish to be ... this way that i can't say to her And you might think it's ugly To go back and not to ride/rally But i can't hide, you don't know what it does to me Well, she needs me how All her way i just can't hear her walk I just can't hear her talk But sometimes you know you will. And when she comes my way I'll just be there stayin' any night or day I will fear her say to you that i don't really try I tried, also cried But i can't leave her behind. ... Any time that i'm on my way I just talk to hear me stay ... pretend to mind here too What else i should have found If i don't make it and you do I swear to you that if you don't cry Try to ride besides ... it took behind. But she hear you walk back when i was young ... you anything but i ... say not she's the one And she's still gone And when i hear from you more than i heard from anyone All my herd ? ... I just rode I swear i trade to you This whole wide world is your own ... But i can't help you but i try to tell to you That i just can't ... leave her behind. Lyrics as performed by Stephen Malkmus and Lee Ranaldo on "I'm Not There" soundtrack Where she leads me i do not know Well, she leads me where she go I can't find her nowhere Well, she needs me here All aware i can't hear her walk I just cannot hear her talk Though sometimes, you know you will And when she comes my way I'll just be left any night or day I will hear her say that i don't wanna try I tried, also cried But i can't leave her behind.
thank you

Idylle.....
Bob at his most tender and vulnerable. Video of this is fantastic.
What a timeless classic from the period when he was so prolific he basically hrew away gems like this. With that incredible delicate descending pre-chorus chord progression. A minute of this song (different version) was in the Scorsese documentary No Direction Home, with Robbie Robertson. And Robbie is speaking in the background of this version, reminding Dylan of the bridge.
I feel him, here...
Can't even understand the words and it moves one to weep...
Kindred spirits forever…❤😊
Lindo.
Any others?
Damn, I’ve been wondering about this song for decades. The only part I’ve ever heard or seen. Is the final scene in Eat the Document. He and Robbie are playing a bit of it. This is fabulous. Thank you for posting.
So Tender & Overflowing with a Heart full of Tenderness , empathy & missing..brings Tears to ones eyes. Beautiful heartfelt & Tender song by a young man with same characteristics. God bless & Keep Bob Always, please.💟🌹🤟✌️🤣
When I first saw ETD 20 years ago now on a VHS tape lol, I was totally transfixed on the sideline singing clips they did, this "song" most importantly. I always wished they did a full version on one of the albums, seems it would have been a better album ender than sad eyed lady, a song I never really cared for. I honestly think the melody they are working with here shows influence of Beatles songs and that makes a lot of sense given the time and place.
As most of the other comments express this is indeed an unreleased gem. This is the first time i have heard this song and i have been a Bob fanatic for 30 plus years. What makes it a bit extra special for me is that it was played in my home city of Glasgow 8 years to the day before i was born. I seen Bob on Halloween night last year in Glasgow and he is 81 now and still touring the world and allowing us to bask in his magic. That Glasgow performance was 54 years ago!!!!! I'm saving up just now to be able to follow him on the last 6 months of the RARW tour because he is in his twighlight years now and i want to see as much of him as possible before he leaves us; a day i am dreading. There has been nobody else in my life whom i have not known personally who means so much to me. He means more than some of the people i have known all my life. The world will be a poorer place for the loss. I know you guys all feel the same. We have been lucky to be around at the same time as this man. God bless x
Incrível suas palavras. Amo tanto Bob Dylan Como é bom ouvir lo e saber que estamos juntos aqui. Essa voz é incrível doce e me faz ama lo.
His harmonica is mystical and magical. A meaningful song is like medicine for the body ,mind and soul. Good meaningful songs are like light in the world, they are meant to sing out loud individually or collectively; that can clear away all our negative thoughts and emotions in our disturbed mind. Happy listening, singing and sharing with other. God bless you. Dylan understands the formula of peace - Prince/ ambassador of Peace. Have you heard them ? 1. Do you Hear what I hear? ( Christmas in the Heart) .Listen to what I say. Pray for peace people everywhere... 2. Ring Them Bells Sarah Jarosz - Ring Them Bells (Transatlantic sessions) @Marco Regali ...Oh, the shepherd is asleep where the willows weep. And the mountains are filled with lost sheep.... Ring the bell for the blind and deaf....
The predecessor to "You're a Big Girl Now."
ol Bullet Dodgin' Bob
❤
This sounds like something Pete Doherty would sing
Coincidentally, it’s what I tell my wife when I see her walking away.
What year would you say that Dylan song is from ?
1966
seems a little odd that when you listen to all his recordings from 1966, his voice never sounds anything like this. i'm probably wrong, but it sounds more like someone trying to sound like him. and from the greatest songwriter who ever lived, this doesn't seem like that great an effort.
There is video footage of this 🤷♂️
His voice sounds very similar in this to his acoustic live stuff from 66. Listen to Just Like a Woman from the Royal Albert Hall concert
That’s Bob for sure.
@@patriciaamato4263 cannot disagree. bob, my hero, did experiment alot with vocal styless. a new one for me. does sound more like him toward end of song. my bad
GREAT of you to do this. Even greater of him, natch-you agree, I can see/hear/know. Coulda been another contender--song, that is, obviously. Terri S.
That's Bob?
What A beautiful folk rock song! Thanks for sharing 👍🌟🌟🌟👍
Beautifully written and sung. Thanks for sharing 👍🌟🌟🌟👍
His singing is beautiful in this song! I much prefer this style over what he's known for.
yep , a seriously good tune.
Thanks for removing the noise. For Her. Silver Dreams Always x
