Namakwa 4x4 eco trail. ep. 4. part1. Ramansdrift campsite. heavenly life.
Ramansdrift campsite has proven to be our favorite. Even though we have put water rise indicators for safety and even check if it rained in the upper lands. It has happened that campers and vehicles were swept away. Nevertheless, we dare the devil and had the most fun we could enjoy. We stayed two nights as previous trip. Fun is with the thick sand you must cut through before you get to where we setup camp. Boots are full of sand.

Namakwa 4x4 eco trail. ep 3. Orange river and dead land.
Просмотров 2,3 тыс.19 часов назад
We plan the adventures and head out to the most remote and challenging weathers. Once you are the center of everything, the reality of calculating survival chances kick in. Only to realize the Orange river is the only Vein that carries water. Without it, all becomes hell. But because we seek the challenges and struggles to find our comfort, we ride on.

Another great video bro
Appreciate it. More to come.
❤ very nice sharing ❤ watching from Pakistan ❤
My dream to visit Pakistan. Thanks for hanging with me and hope you will future ones too. Much love from South Africa 🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦
@@trailscout22 well come if possible I will be meet you in the north of Pakistan Haven on Earth 🌎
Wow what great views! Thanks for the content
Thank you for watching.
First time to hear about this walk. It's a very good thing to be involved in maybe I'll also be part of it next time (year).
Well, the walk is inspiring and I love cultural engagement and endurance. Also look up the Namib desert walk. Same vibes.
That's fantastic and i see that you're accompanied by some members of the meerkat squad. Some parts lighting was not as good, however i enjoyed all 3 episodes of the epic overlanding with your mates well done mkhulu...
Thank you and thanks for the feedback. If you notice, I try to get better and with the lighting I'm gonna get there as I'm trying some ND filters for my cam.
Enjoyed your video, I think your spot on with the topic, beautiful spot. Kansas, USA Subscribed
South Africa loves and appreciate Kansas. 🇿🇦🇺🇲
Good Stuff Man....What a background 🎶
Thank you.
I'm a 65 year old white man and i injoy your videos remember to take your kids with you on camping trips the day win the ground app they will remember it for the rest of the life I also looking at 'n mahindra thar 2017
I'm glad you enjoy and feedback is so heart warming. Testimony for the kids, you can look for episode 83 and 105. I do my best with them too.
Transcontinental, I find your travel very interesting. However, you fast-forward your video at interesting parts making my experience very unpleasant to the point I cannot follow. Remember, I want to enjoy the experience with you, but I cannot because you speed up the video. So therefore I stopped watching and won't subscribe.
Thank you. Have a nice life and hopefully you have creators that meet your expectations. It's been good having you around. Maybe in the future you may check I do better for you or not.
Please put up something on your channel. One can subscribe and learn a thing or two from you. I learn from others every day and try to improve where I can. Thank you.
@trailscout22 that was not necessary
@@braintuner3628 which is not necessary on the comment or my reply?
You guys have awesome trips. I wish I was able to join 😅 The video quality is so good 🔥🔥 Epic views. Love the videos
Thanks Groot. We make do with what we can. The rest is just a natural flow of things. I appreciate you.
Been wating for this series. amazing! well done on this awesome video man.
Thanks man. Love it when self taught things comes together. We didn't go to school for this. Don't forget to share 🤣🤣🤣
What confuses us is when we think that overlanding is all about camping. 2 separate things. Overlanding is about car-based travelling. any vehicle that can return you safely from your adventure is a perfect overlander.
You got that right. Camping in overlanding comes in when you don't have to book a fixed accommodation which gives freedom to change plans and route instantly cause you know that you can make a home anywhere whilst overlanding.
like a chevy tahoe size wagon/s.u.v. remove all the seats add a bed good for me if one could a pop up camper top
Anything that works. I started by folding a passenger seat and putting a platform that allowed me to sleep inside my car. Any car, anything that can move around.
Yho brother, what camera are you using? Your footage is a bit dark.
Thanks for the feedback. I tried an ND filter on some part of the video cause it was really bright out there.
Big hole is in Kimberly 😊

Bloemfontein just came out my mouth. 🤨
I love this car, but I am scared of the maintenance lol i love the 2014 Rubicon which is also a 2 door. Otherwise BIGUPS for a wonderful content
Thanks for watching. This is a Mahindra Thar crde 2.5 tb diesel. I haven't had any major problems in six years of driving beaten trails. It has been good and strong.
How do u find these places where you just drive in and camp without invading someone else's land?
As Travellers we take calculated risks and mark the spots. Get ioverlander app and will assist you more for those spots.. I find them easy cause I talk to locals and ask about a potential place I see and like or I just camp. Hope this helps.
@@trailscout22 thanks it does
love the video. simple and real. this is what it feels like out there, enjoy!
Thanks, the simpler the better... 💯🇿🇦
Absolutely agree with the overlanding vehicle topic. Any car an indeed be an overlander depending on your interests and types of trips you do. great video brother.
Thanks a lot. I will keep them coming
Can you have a conversation at 120 km/h or you really need to shout ....Im told Thar is noisy in the cabin ....to be honest i am really considering one, Idont mind to even take it for noise insulation if it takes, I really love it❤
The noise is only with the soft top. Thar is a project car and you can anything you desire. With the hard top, I don't have sound issue besides if you roll windows down. Honestly, you must be a character to own one. Hope that helps.
@@trailscout22 much appreciated.....im a character indeed🤣🙈
I followed you from Overland Expeditions.... Thank you for taking us along on your journey.Love it
I appreciate you my friend. Thanks a lot.
Which place, and is it a thar
Looks like a CRDe.
It the Thar my friend. Thanks for watching and sharing
Spot on🤣🤣
Just next to Golden gate in Phuthaditjhaba
The stunning landscapes and unique charm of this spot are breathtaking. The rugged terrain and rustic vibe create a truly unforgettable experience. Following your adventures is such a joy! 💖
You hit the nail on the head. It is wonders of the earth that makes me want to see more. I thank you if you enjoy even though I make it with very little to be able to share. I won't stop and I will bring you more. Thanks a lot.
Interesting. So it will keep the mosquitos away this summer.
Yep, and flies and bugs.
Thank you. I will
You are a star! 💯
Will definitely try this recipe and see if it works, especially now since its summertime. Thanks for plug. Will need to check around as to where can I buy the citronella feafs.
Thanks for watching and don't forget to share. You can buy at the nursery and plant it at home. I noticed they stay green throughout the year.
My brother love your content, if one wishes to start light overlanding , what would your advice be
Thanks for watching and hope you will share the channel. You don't need much. Priority one is where and how you store your food or plan in your route where you will get food. Two, is a comfortable sleeping gear cause that can make you out of shape. Any tent will do or you make a platform inside your car depending on the car you have. The rest to get going is about where you are going and the amount of fuel plus finding out if all fuel stations are working cause it has happened to me to find one being renovated. Luckily I had a Jerry can with extra. More to this we can take it offline. Ngyabonga
Lovely to post my friend, this was relaxing to watch!
Thanks for your feedback., I really appreciate it. 💯
You are awesome ❤ thank you for that
I appreciate you a lot for watching. 🙌
Some realy incredible shots there ❤
One tries and learn at the same time. How about we plan a kgalakgadi and sleep with the lions?
@trailscout22 I wish. I will need to get shell or Engen to sponsor my fuel for that trip 🤣 I will need to go some place a bit closer 🤣 When I have leave again 😎

Thanks. I'm actually playing around with some accessories and learning in a way. Appreciate your feedback.
@trailscout22 I have the pocket 2 and the mic works well. I think I'm just like you also, hardly use it but it's a great tool to have.
Nice one Mo
Love this moment with the kids. I should take my one camping also.
It's priceless moments and goes down to memory lane that lasts for long. When it comes to kids, I think you should headout as in yesterday already 🤣🤣🤣💯🇿🇦
@@trailscout22 hahaha I'm too late.
Bra your campsite location is epic.
Thanks a lot and you won't believe it's free under a Kings land. You have to be self sufficient as there is zero facilities. I go there mostly and I have never found anyone camping or even hiking. Only few guys looking after cows.
@@trailscout22 I hope to have the privilege to join you one day on a camping trip to that spot.
@mzanzi.x let me know and we will make it happen 🙌
Do you guys accommodate children
Indeed.
Cool rig !!
Thanks a lot. Thanks for watching too.
Epic videos 🎉 thank you
Thanks Groot. You owe me a camp and drive episode 🤣💯🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦
Beautyful video! Well done
Thanks for watching.
This is exactly why we do not welcome many of the SA off roaders in Namibia!! This behaviour shows no respect for the areas you have chosen to spoil!!😢😮😮
Sad to see that the courtesy of only using one track is not followed😢. The doughnut in the Giribis plain is also not acceptable. Whoever the tour leader was, he needs to pay attentions to he do's and don'ts of this amazing area to keep it as pristine as possible.
That was attended to.
Howzit, was lekker meeting you, hope to see you at Eston again soon
Ola. Same vibes, Eston is my base if this was military and definitely we will meet soon.

RUclips dude, it can be monster to tame.. But I think they started sharing it a bit because It just popped on my feed for the first time today..
Are you running stock tyres on these vehicles?
Nope. I'm running 265/75R16 m/t Bridgestone
Looks amazing. What tyres did you use? How did they perform?
We used general grabber and two vehicles had highway terrains which ended up having lumps only on our way back. It was just a test.
@@trailscout22 thanks, was thinking of getting General Grabber AT3 265/60r18 on mine. Not a 3-ply tyre, but the reviews seem good
It's my favorite stop on the N4
We all got those specific stops that gives a sense of having to travel now and then or even always.
