I found a shrew

Shrew is the smallest known living terrestrial mammal indeed. If it didn't run to the road, I definitely can not find it. Look!They have really small eyes, and this means generally they have poor vision, but have excellent senses of hearing and smell.

Both blue tit’s and sparrow‘s eggs are inside the nest!!
Просмотров 4862 года назад
It was raining recently, after last time I saw blue tit couple came back, I did check the nest and find the sparrow‘s egg still in the nest, just covered with a layer of moss. When I checked the nest today, I was surprised to find that the blue tits also laid eggs, which means there are two kinds of eggs in the nest at the same time, and they are just separated by a layer of moss! Will the blue...

The sparrow couple has not been seen for several days since they laid their eggs. I've been thinking, could it be that the weather is colder this year and if the eggs are hatched, the chicks will not have enough food to eat? At this time in previous years, chicks were already fully fledged and ready to leave their nest. When I was having breakfast this morning, I suddenly spotted a blue tit cou...

Searching a snake in Nature
Просмотров 4,4 тыс.2 года назад
It is more difficult to spot snakes in summer because they mostly hide in dense bushes and tall grass. On the contrary, in spring, they can be easily spotted in places such as bare rock. This is the best place for snakes, who have just woken up from hibernation, to bask in the sunlight to soften their stiff bodies.

    Is there a possibility of maggots coming out? And if so how do I prevent this? I have a dead moth.

    • @hanzolx
      @hanzolx Год назад

      This is rlly late but no, maggots are fly larvae and generally insects don’t lay eggs in other insects. But you do have to worry about ants and other smaller insects eating the body ‼️
