It would be an interesting task to hunt dow all these old clips and remake this video in HD... Maybe I'll give it a shot once I clear some space of my Hard drive...
#MB73099 the BIONICLE line wont be coming back unless the writer of the lego stories and comics gives lego the rights because when he left he took the rights, I sent them a letter asking about it the same year BIONICLE left and I was told this so unless you can get the rights dont spread rumors
speaking of spreading rumors, Greg Farshtey(the guy who created BIONICLE, and is working on Hero factory) is still with LEGO as editorial director. It literally took a quick google search to confirm this, with Jacketflap showing books that came out as late as 2013 and with the lego magazine still listing him as editor.
I gotta say Greg does not own the rights nor did he create Bionicle. Lego ended it and they still own it, Greg stopped making the stories because they're not paying him to do it, he's also not working on Hero Factory.
I think LEGO should keep HF but bring back Bionicle for the older kids. Hf is nice for younger children(simple in both build and story) but I like a bit more of a challenge.
So. Once upon a time, a kid bought a Bionicle. But when he was about to build it, he got confused and said: MY BRAIN IS TOO SMALL TO UNDERSTAND THESE INSTRUCTIONS!. And Hero Factory did born.
So we could just "Adapt" to hero factory while lego gets enough funds (and ideas) to bring back Bionicle? When i saw the Hero Factory 1.0, they seemed to be toys for REALLY little kids, like from 4-8 or something. But now they are getting cooler, the Brain Attack enemies remind me to the Piraka somehow. (maybe because they have spines and the white one is always smiling, like Thok ._.)
To add on to that, Hero Factory is a test by Lego to see if constraction figures are still popular, and if they are, bionicle (or something along the lines of a new plot or story) will come out. So basically, we need to SUPPORT Hero Factory to prove to Lego that there is still potential for constraction figures.
on the bright side it will always be alive with the fans we have the power to keep this toy and I think it will never end the fans will be there and hero factory isn't all that bad the story is horrid but the sets are starting to get better like gragon bolt that set was fun to build but I guess I just want hope for bionicle but it will never be over it will forever be alive in our hearts
i got introduced to Bionicle when it was about 2008. My mom knew me and my bro loved legos so she bought to pre-used sets off of a garage sail. Mine was the original lewa and kopaka mixed together.

I'm sorry man but Bionicle is done, the story is finished. let us all give a moment of silence for a GREAT Lego series, as it'll never come back.

Unity, duty, destiny.
