Well it seems to work ok. Keep in mind there is no platen or tool test of any kind. The strength depends on the grinder motor. The belt certainly plays the major part in material removal. All that’s really left is the build quality of the unit, which seems to be fine. The tracking works fine and the belt returns to center if it’s forced off track by pressure. I’ll eventually make a platen for it. I’ll try to video the process and post it on my channel. I hope this helps, thanks for asking.

@@sjaramillo26 i’m using a three-quarter horsepower motor. A one horsepower certainly would not hurt at all, laugh out loud! The next size up grinder attachment recommends a one horsepower motor because it has a bigger drive wheel, I believe it’s an 8 inch drive which would give it an 8 inchsanding surface.

10-4 I don’t carry it around all day. I take it in to work with me and set it down, then I carry it back to my vehicle when I leave. I don’t use everything in the bag everyday. Forgive me if I implied otherwise.

Do you know the torque setting? I’ve been asked a couple of times and I don’t have an answer.

My friend at the injection shop said it’s more of a feel than a torque setting. I know that might not help much, but it’s all I got.

Not familiar with that one, man. But I’d certainly look at the simplest things first, like o-rings then check flared fittings for damage, etc.

I would pull the delivery valve and make sure the surfaces are flat and aren’t corroded/eroded. If it leaks where it leaves the head at the return line then it’s probably the crush washer needs to be changed. Also check where the lines go into each delivery valve. Thanks for the advice. That kind of stuff will be added to the ghb in my trunk. Remember, this edc bag is stuff I use day to day and to help me get across the big parking lot to my vehicle if a “difficult situation” presents itself.

Good point, but what’s Usually in my bag is 1 days worth. If a LEO has a problem with my BP meds and 3 vitamins then I guess I’ll just be in trouble.

@@JimmyJamesHopper If they're easily identifiable as such, you should have no problem.

I loosen the line at the fuel injector and turn the motor over until fuel comes out. Then move to the next line and so on. If that doesn’t help then I’d check the slide inside the pump inspection window.

Will it crank on ether? If not, then the slide is probably stuck. That was an issue with mine after it sat for a while.

Pretty sure I used crank case oil when I changed the oil in this one. As far as the springs… They may be able to be freed up, but be careful not to scratch anything. I know that’s not much help, but I’m a visual kind of guy and like to look at something first-hand. I have a couple of other videos about this pump. One shows a broken spring: that was the culprit on the misfire on this tractor.

I don’t know which pump you have, but this video might help you also. There’s a slide on the side of the pump that sticks when it hasn’t run a while. If it’s stuck, the tractor won’t even fire off on ether. ruclips.net/video/FRWRsbk2GcU/видео.html

@@JimmyJamesHopper you are exactly right !!!!!! i changed the oil in pump and took side cover off and the rack was stuck , pried it with screwdriver and freed right up. put back together and it fired right up, funny but i rebuilt the the engine about 9 years ago and forgot just about all of what i knew about it!!! i had tried to start it with either and it would not even hit!! thank you for posting your video helped me out alot now i know what is in the pump , thanks!!!

@@johnbecker5213 Awesome!! I’m glad the my video helped. It’s very satisfying to fix something yourself. I want to do some more videos with that tractor. I’m going to replace the other 3 injectors later this spring. I put a hydraulic pump on it a year or so ago, but didn’t record that…I wish I had. Next time I service the power steering stuff I may video that. Again, I’m glad it helped you!
