The Exoskeleton Laboratory (EXO-Lab) is part of the Department of Mechanical Engineering at KAIST, Korea. Our mission is to develop advanced mechatronic and robotic systems that enhance the quality of life.
With a strong foundation in Controls and Dynamic Systems, EXO-Lab focuses on the design and control of legged robotic systems that support human mobility.
Our recent innovations include:
Wearable robots for individuals in physically demanding jobs
Assistive exoskeletons for people with complete paraplegia
Rehabilitation devices for patients with mobility impairments

This suite is slow, I am also handicapped, I want scorpian king like six legs to walk and run faster than than sportscars, climb mountains with that speed, catch my brain signals and command my legs to walk and run, I want to be half machine and half robot, cybeborg as shown in Robocop movie, or I am ready to be terminator to save the world. Please Invent something that for handicapped people. I am frustrated of using prosthetic legs those are damn slow, I know it's possible. Invent something shown in spiderman movie which Dr Octopus wears, I want that kind of denticals attached with my body. Imagine all disabled persons are robots having some robotics parts some human parts, you will earn lots of money.

참 멋지고 드라마틱한 영상입니다만, 대회 1등, RAL 이런 논문으로는 부족합니다. 의료기기 인허가 받은 로봇으로 병원에 가서 임상연구하고, 개선하는 엔지니어링 연구를 하세요. 그동안 3번에 걸쳐 만들어진, 소수를 위한 대회목적의 suit가 인류발전에 공헌한게 얼마나 있을까요? 회사 홍보 외에 뭐가 있나요? 구동기? 제어기? 엔젤렉스 수백대 만들어서 전세계에 보급하고 그걸로 임상연구 하는게 더 의미있을겁니다. 아니면 Hocoma나 피엔에스미케닉스, 큐렉소처럼 완전한 병원용 실내재활 연구를 하는게 맞지 않을까요? 리워크, 엑소, 현대차는 왜 산업용, 생산직용 타겟으로 대부분 전환했을까요? 삼성은 왜 의료용 웨어러블로봇 양산을 하지 않을까요? 대회1등에 심취하기 보다는 좀 더 진지한 연구에 임했으면 하는 바람입니다. 오랜기간 엔젤로보틱스 주주이자, 엑소랩의 팬으로서 드리는 코멘트입니다.
