💩💩🤡🤡
That dark grey and white are the only colors I like. Normally I like black but damn these kill it
Mine doesn't sound like that at all
Jaguar xj220 amazing
Stock?
4sec
Too little too late
That sounds amazing! What are the engine and exhaust specs?
this is some good shit
Nice car ❤️🔥😁👍🏿
Tight. Nice car. 422nm of Torque.
I really like the current Genesis brand. It's just unfortunate their resale value is holding and it makes purchasing one used quite costly. The car you're testing is something I wanted to look at but it's just way over my budget. I ended up with a 2.4T Subaru Outback. Apples and oranges but I wanted practicality, grown up car with performance on tap. It's quite peppy when you lay in on the throttle.
You don't look very comfortable doing this on camera. Do a voice over instead as the audio is very low quality.
Since you’re such an expert on presenting to camera, how about you show me some examples of you doing it
I see they 'tried' to ripped off the BMW 850i on that front end.
by any chance are you blind
How does one rip off ones own invention? Albert
If so - the Koreans hired the BMW designer for that reason
I just raced a 850 in mine the other day. The 850 was pulling but my Nline was keeping up 🫡
Launch control it
Looks beautiful, I love that quad exhaust
Isn't this a 2024 Nline?
It was built in 2023 by it's MY2024
I know this is an old vid but that rattle noise when you are driving is that coming from the trans tunnel if so mine is doing the same
My steering wheel comes off. Unless they have another steering wheel, its not going anywhere
The best !!! 👍
This is why I always remove my battery on mine 😂 sitting on gold my boy
Sounds fantastic!
Congratulations on proving how just much you love for your 300 zx. What a sad story that started with those low life's stealing & damaging your beautiful car. Through the trauma of the insurance under compensating you, a ray of light appeared where the police recovered your battered zx and you were able to buy it back (at a ridiculously high price). Then you bonded even more with your zx as you are reviving her back to her former glory. I have just bought my fourth 300zx TT 2 plus 2 & hope to lavish her with all the love she deserves.
Thanks a lot for your thoughtful comment. I never thought that I'd see the car again so it's great that I got it back. Unfortunately the criminals weren't arrested and I hope that one day they have to suffer as much as I did. I hope that you get a lot of enjoyment out of your new purchase!
@@automotivetorque I have already fallen hopelessly in love with her, despite being pitch black. ha-ha. I really love the fact that it's a 'talking point' where ever I go. Ha-ha
Is this stock exhaust?
Stock exhaust, car is in Sport + mode for this video
Thia car has massive mufflers.. And when I say massive, I mean massive. Either do a muffler delete or replace the mufflers with smaller performance ones. Im gonna replace mine with Borla S types then custom fabricate the valved pipe around the muffler for increased sound when putting it in sport mode
If this was my car and not a press car I would also change the exhaust.
Thanks for the video...about to replace the left mirror housing on my 1996 Z32 NA...keeping the convex mirror I added from the passenger side, so the view is just like on my motorcycle...no blind spots! 🏍
Is this the sport prestige or just standard?
Sport Luxury
LMFAMFO whats the difference LOL
There isn’t really any due to the soft limiter when revving in this situation but there’s a difference in sound when driven on the road and you can use all the revs
Any fitment issues trying to get it on? I’ve heard ams exhaust fitment can be dicey sometimes, but that’s just from reading some reviews online.
Fitment of the AMS exhaust was good, it was harder getting the original exhaust off because of the rusted bolts and nuts. I just made sure that I bought the exhaust for the 2+2 model, as the exhaust for the 2 seater is designed differently due to fuel tank location.
Straight pipe it
yer the maori shit that is being rammed down kiwi throats every day, enough >
Wish I could afford one; I got the N-line instead in Polar White. But honestly, with speed traps everywhere these days where I live, it's probably for the best. Love your car mate.
Slower than a wet weekend.
Your wet weekends are obviously pretty hectic.
When you go out and better his stage time I'll agree with you
@@automotivetorque 👏🏾
Makes no difference 😅
Literally that's what I thought but also I second doubt if I was a half deaf from all my loud cars😅
@@qw9uj hahaha maybe bro
If you're listening through mobile speakers, you won't hear much of a difference. It's better to hear it on real life or with a good set of headphones.
At 1:27 i was about 50 meters to your left
If it was sunday
@@RyanTubereal My damaged and aged ears will never hear "pure sound' again owing the the ravages inflicted on them by open 2 stroke expansion chambers and 15 years of truck driving.. mind I can still appreciate those frequencies they can hear. Still no worth the price of admission.
Yes I was there on the Sunday
Does it have stock cats or testpipes/decat?
Stock cats
You got in wrong side.of car lol i forget other countries are rhd, so strange seeing it 😅
Why are the gauges different?
This is not a North American car. Other markets get the 3d display
This is an Australian press car
America got screwed with these cars I guess. Every other country has better guage clusters. Shit just ain't right.
Great you got it back! Definitely get that GPS and a wheel lock
I own one. It's a fantastic car.
How long was the wait ?
@@ljp1942 i took the demo 😂😂
i love these types of video's, theres people who just wanna enjoy some pure car sounds
Thanks, I think some people doing car videos make it more about themselves than the actual car!
@@automotivetorque yeah , and then it starts to get cringe
This is what you see trackside. Why would you go.
1. These are general admission tickets and there are boards with the TV feed in other GA spots. 2. It’s still a nice view and it’s the closest you can get to the cars without paddock pass. 3. Nothing can ever put into perspective how fast the cars are until you see them in person. If you can afford it I’d really recommend it. The video undersells it.
@@KayJblue I am into motorsport believe me. and have been trackside and in both instances (the other being TV)you aren't getting the full picture. The chances of seeing a significant pass trackside are really slim. One year at Gold Coast INDY I assisted in the pits to a lesser class and that was ok.
You don’t hear the pure sound on tv though so it’s so much better in person
The sense of speed, the sound of the cars, the atmosphere and being that close to the world's best drivers is why it's better to go to the event. You don't appreciate how skillful the drivers are until you see them at the track. Although it was a much better spectacle when the cars sounded better, using the naturally aspirated V8s and V10s.
I have been to a few major events including Indy cars at the Gold Coast and V8s and have always been disappointed. Like when you're at a sprint car meeting or even a kart track you're able to see the whole track and potentially all the passing. Street circuits are the worst. You can barely see 150metres of track from your vantage point. (And with limited runoff areas lots of expensive cars are needlessly wrecked) Tv is the best coverage by far.
eco mode exhaust sounds exactly like my i20 n line :D literally also when idling but yeah the N mode is the real deal .
cool video, makes me want to take mine to the hills right now lol
strong pop game.😁
Hows the ride quality in the Hyundai i20n ?
It's a bit firm, I think that the ride quality in the i30n is better with the adapters dampers. It's fine on smooth roads but the rear takes a while to settle over larger bumps and undulations.
What's the system look like underneath? X pipe to 2.5 to twin rear muffs?
X-pipe to two small resonators to 2.5 to twin rear muffs
One of my favourite XJ-S ever. The work that has gone into this car is outstanding. Always a pleasure seeing it in the Targa Tazzie.
It’s a great car, do you know how much bhp it has?
@@automotivetorque I don't... but I understand that the car is AUS $100K+ in terms of what it cost to put together. I've heard it rev up past 8K so I'm guessing (pure guess!) 500bhp+ at least. Hopefully the owner might see this and comment perhaps 👍
Yeah I was thinking around the 500 mark!
Damn criminals!
I’ve done a 2nd cat & resonator delete on mine. The pops and crackles are so much louder now. The car is too muffled from factory. I’d say mine’s probably about as loud as a stock i30N now. I say that’s how it should’ve come from factory
I agree, they should sound as loud as the i30N stock
@@automotivetorque I went to performance exhaust centre in north mead. Best $420 I’ve spent.
@@OfficialMINIm I'm so close to doing mine but Hyundai said if you remove the cats you can void engine warranty. Anything from the cat back is fine which sucks given how restrictive the GPF's are.
