Smoke Alert: New Mahindra XUV 3XO Turned into a Smoke Machine 🚗💨
🔥 Buckle up for our wild ride! Our brand-new Mahindra XUV 3XO AX5 Diesel automatic variant decided to put on a smoke show during our drive. 🙈💨 Imagine cruising down the highway, feeling all fancy in our fresh wheels, only to have the engine puff out more smoke than a vintage steam engine! 🚂
But wait, there’s more! We called roadside assistance and their service center manager, and boy they took their own time to arrive on scene. After a 3 hour long wait we got the help needed!😱
Now, we’re left wondering: Is this a one-time hiccup, or do all XUV 3XOs moonlight as smoke generators? 🤔

They told us some clamp was loose. Now we don’t know much of the technicalities so we just went with what they’ve told us.

Same issue but service center is saying this is a power coteted paint issue burn so no problem but again and again 3 time service centre 3 time 3 other other reseon

Powder coating ka burning smell even we got initially. But smoke was not a result of that. They told us some clamp was loose and hence the issue. Touch wood it is resolved now and we’ve done a couple of long trips too and no issues hence🤞🏻

I faced same problem in my xuv 3xo petrol manual after driving in traffic. Service centre claims this is not a big issue. Please help what should I do

Well we didn’t take that chance as we had our baby with us. Kindly ask the service centre to recheck it. Initially they too told us that if you drive for a bit it’ll be resolved but the smoke just kept increasing. That’s when we asked for road side assistance.

Hume bola gaya k kuch clamp loose tha. Ab sach kya hai kisko pata. Hum log koi car expert nahi. Toh jo service centre ne hume bola humne maana

We haven’t had the time to post a review yet. Sorry But honestly, at times it is jerky initially and we found a slight lag in the lower gears

😂 oye... U hate it. But Mahindra has done it for your Drive , vibration, accident crumple safety.. It is inherited by Big vehicle designs...
Aren’t crumple zones part of the structure? This is a covering generally fitted with a fibre clip. Some cars have it in a darker colour depending on the cabin aesthetics. The white is part of the aesthetic design and over a period of time it would turn too dirty that’s why we did the stickering

Well we got the car back and test drove again on the highway for a long distance, no issues again (touchwood) We were told some clamp was loose and that is why this happened. Mahindra service people also took it for a spin to see check post service.
@@KBsafarnamaI recently purchased 3XO AX5 L and I also observed same ,getting more heat at top of front tyres but I driven just 50 Km They said it will be reduced after first service Do I need to check any thing with them please let me know

People need to avoid Mahindra and Tata unless they improve.
Well we had a Tata Tiago XZ+ for 5years prior to this and didn’t face any issue as such except having to change the battery after 4years.

Well apparently we were told that wouldn’t cause it to smoke. They told us that there was some clamp loose🤷🏻♀️ Let’s pray that all is well now
tata and mahindra are known to give problems and you guys still go ahead and buy them, why?
Every brand has its plus and minuses. We had a Tata Tiago XZ+ for 5years before this and honestly apart from having to change the battery after 4years, it didn’t give us any trouble. We wanted a slightly bigger car with basic functions which would fit in our budget and would also be comfortable and that’s why went ahead with Mahindra

Rule #1 of selecting a a car - never buy the first generation model from any manafacturer or else you become the beta testers!
Hahaha true that. Hoping it doesn’t occur again. That’s something of a risk we were willing to take as my husband was pretty sure of Mahindra quality.
There are Zero issues with first gen models of foreign brands Only tata and mahindra do r n d on customers

Coolent issues i feel
I am also the owner of XUV 3xo ax5 petrol mt and I have the same issue on my car which is due to wrong use of clutch
I think this issue is not a deal breaker cus the driver may have been pressed clutch while driving due to which gear have been over heated
@@arulmozhi5248ours is an automatic vehicle. So matter of clutch is not there.

Given the number of niggles and issues with Tata cars, I was thinking may be Mahindra is better but with all these fire incidents lately it seems they are no different. QC is an issue for sure. This really breaks trust makes one hesitant to go ahead with Indian manufacturers. I was really looking forward for this car, but now it seems have to look elsewhere.
@@tykemonster6416well the only issue we faced owning a Tata prior to this was their finesse. Their build may be good but finishing is horrible. Somehow this car ticked most of the boxes we were looking for in a car. Apparently we’re told this was a one off issue. So far they haven’t received such complaints. The car is back and working well now. Even took it for another spin🤞🏻
Dont cross fingers just check coolent as other guy suggested it happens you should have done proper pedi before taking delivery
We did. But like any new product there were some glitches. 2days prior to this we had sent it to the service centre itself as the tyre pressure monitoring system wasn’t working properly, the camera and display also had issues. 2 days the car worked fine and then this happened. 🤷🏻♀️ We’re also still learning about this machine
Thats not a big issue here we are waiting for deliveries 😂

Well that’s why we switched from AX7 to AX5 as they told us waiting period was 6months. This particular model in Diesel was available and that’s why we went for it
@@shashankverma1261 starting mein koi bhi nayi product mein issues aate hai. But company Kaiser support karti hai Woh matter karta hai. Drive comfort sab mast tha. Haan naya product launch hote hi lena thoda risky hai. Cautious rehna hai toh ek saal intezaar kar lo.
@@KBsafarnama yes you're right about that but it feels like mahindra has been slacking of in quality control for the past 4 5 years and in their customer services department too

Well in the 1st to 2nd gears it lags a lot, specially in the city. Sometimes sounds like the case is really dragging. Once it goes into 3rd it’s good. On highways however didn’t feel it as much.
