      black does not have to recapture your knight, they could move the king back into the corner before doing so

    Endgames are so precise it's a crazy contrast to the other stages of the game. One inaccuracy can be the difference between winning and losing 30 moves later.

      @@kallamsamad6736 Most games are still decided on that level by hanging stuff, not taking hanging pieces. Simple tactics. Do puzzles and look at forks, pins, skewers. Haven your pieces defended. Also always look what your opponent moved, what is he threatening? Did he forget something? Did his move leave something undefended etc... And basics: center, development and king safety. Always have those in mind.
