Florent Schmitt's "Soirs" Op. 8, No. 2 "La Prélude" | A Poetic Opening to the Night
"La Prélude," the second piece from Florent Schmitt’s "Soirs" Op. 8, is a work that beautifully captures the essence of twilight and the beginning of the evening. The delicate interplay of piano textures creates a sense of atmosphere, as though we are witnessing the first stars appear in the sky. In this performance, I delve into Schmitt’s use of harmony and rhythm to paint a portrait of the night. The soft, flowing lines contrast with sudden bursts of energy, creating a sense of mystery and unpredictability. "La Prélude" requires a careful balance between precision and expressiveness, making it a compelling and captivating work. Watch as I breathe life into this evocative opening piece f...

Continuing the parody of John Cage's 4'33", here is the second movement played at 10,000 BPM. While the first movement was challenging, this one pushed the boundaries further. However, I will not play the third movement-it’s simply impossible. The third movement is technically impossible to play. 🎥 For more piano content and live sessions, join me on Twitch: www.twitch.tv/kaiipiano Thanks for w...
Cage 4'33" (First Movement) at 10,000 BPM - A Parody of Silence
Просмотров 1557 часов назад
This is a parody of John Cage's famous silent piece, 4'33". The first movement is performed at an astonishing 10,000 BPM-no, the video is not sped up. I I ever listen to this piece performed live, I will find myself screaming in agony as if being tortured or dying, perhaps even risking being kicked out of the venue. To me, this isn’t music. That’s why I decided to play it at 10,000 BPM-to prove...
