I'm ambivalent about the value of this video as a learning aid. Being quite knowledgeable about GIS myself the pronounciation of some words and terms were so bad that I couldn't understand it immediately. You took so many terms and things for granted that many things did not make sense. In some places in the world the resolution of SRTM data is so bad that it is useless for smaller areas unless the area is in the USA. Also mentioning that you are using WGS 84 and mixing in another reference system is not only confusing but should have been mentioned upfront as it is actually the most important aspect of any map. I'm sure that you are knowledgeable but you are not a good instructor or teacher 😢

Thats for the vidoe - I have a problem with 3.22 - no respond when I try to open the programm or it is very slow. Now I tried to intall QGIS 3.34.2 but I can not start it. Can I uninstall all old versions of QGis (3.16 / 3.22) befor I install the new version (3.28.14). Does this has any influence on old Projects? And does it make sence to uninstall old versions first?

You sad you are GIS EXPERT what’s is better QGis or ArcGIS 3.0 pro ?
Both are excellent GIS softwares! I personally prefer QGIS, only because it's free and the user-friendly interface... But 99,9% of spatial analysis can be done with both softwares.
Hi thanks for the nice video but unfortunately when I do it the exact same way my qGIS does not let me Add my CSV file. The Add button is grey and if I wanna change the geometry definition for the x and y fields I can not change them to longitude and latitude, do you know where I am going wrong? Any help would be very much appreciated
Hello, you probably have some wrong settings in this "add delimited text layer" window. I recommend carefully checking all settings and how this is reflected in the sample data at the bottom to see if it's as expected.

Hello Leo I am really enjoying this tutorial. I am having issues with the CVS file. Every time I download and modify the file, as your instructions on the video, the values for the population, GrowthRate and popDensity return a NULL value when I join the columns. I am working on the latest macOS Monterey (12.6) and Microsoft Office for mac. Please let me know if there is a work around for this issue. Thank you very much for your time and providing this tutorial.
hi, is it possible that you're saving the file as .xlsx or .csv instead of the specfic delimiter file format he'd showed in the video? Just flagging as this caught me out.
