The one thing he didn't deserve to get roasted for was skin color. He had vitiligo. I remember when he finally talked about it I rolled my eyes at the time. It made no sense to me. Only like many years later did I get it - he started out with light / pink / "white" looking patches that he'd put darker makeup on but they eventually spread and met and he ended up with dark patches, so he just covered those with light makeup.

Had to quit watching as soon as Jim Carrey showed his mug !

This is my first time discovering this show. Idk what years it ran and if it coincided with SNL but they definitely had something meaningful going on here especially with the cast mainly being black it was great exposure and a lot of talent in one place

All of us old enough to remember watching this show back in the glorious days of the 90s. This show SLAUGHTERED SNL and none of us could figure out why it stopped. Jim Carey was still an undiscovered GENIUS of comedy as we're the Waynan brothers. We all remember saying, "Who is that guy? He's so freaking funny?"... and then then the Hollywood guys caught on and the rest is Jim Carey history. MAD TV came along and THEY were better than SNL..13 years that show was so good and it never got bad.. but it got shut down. It never won an Emmy and it should have. SNL is still on. 50 years later. It is the worst "comedy" show and it needs to be put out of its misery. Loren Michaels must be black mailing sombody because that show is horrible. It stopped being funny 20 years ago.

My father was lying on his death bed, dying of lung cancer in 1990. He found "In Living Color" on tv. He asked me if l had ever seen it? Of course, I had. He said, "These kids are hilarious. So talented!" It kept him laughing until he passed. Thank you to the cast!

I was in 3rd grade when this came out it was Simpsons and then in living color. It was appointment TV watching. You would Literally go to school the next day and kids were hitting each other on the head talking about "HOMMIE DON'T PLAY DAT!" 😂😂
