funny to see this, it was at marion county auto parts not to long ago. got reminded about it again, called them about it but they dont have it anymore, so dont know if it got scraped or what.

for whatever reason I thought that the bare chassis in the thumbnail was a giant ballista with a coilspring as the tensioner before realizing that it's just a frame and that's a double wishbone suspension now I gotta find a video of a big ol metal ballista

Hello, Not sure if you fixed your water leak but there is a seal that fits on the face of the welded fitting called a conical seal. I am an aircraft mechanic and they are commonly used in aviation, FAA approved.

I am so nosey, I spend 8-10 minutes on Bing looking for that beautiful Cow painting. The entry way to your home is amazing just with the colours of the walls and the painting. Oh yeah, the Sub-Frame installation was ok. I have a 356 and just watch new items for VW to see how I can incorporate new parts. On Part 2 of the installation can you start in another part of your house. Just saying...

Your coolant hose and AN fittings are too small, they should be the same inner diameter as the radiator, they wont flow enough for your hot weather, and you need to make sure where you fill your coolant is higher than all the hoses or you wont be able to get all the air out. And a welding tip for you, try trigger welding until you figure it out, like doing a bunch of tac's , hold it down 2, 3 seconds, move over 1/8 of an inch, hold it down 2, 3 seconds, so on, you will stack dimes without even trying, then once you see how that works, its easy to figure out how to weld, hold trigger continuously in one spot until your dime fills up, move over 1/8 inch, until your dime fills up, and so on, you dont need to move the gun in circles or u's, easy peasy.

Nice job, I have a ez30r in my bug. I had the WRX Sti set up but threw a rod. I am interested in getting the front and rear suspension that you installed. I wonder how big of a difference it would make between the 4' narrow beam.

My older brother was a recon marine out of Camp Pendleton overlapping your time by a couple years. Wonder if you knew him (not sure if I want to say his name on here...let's call him Dblcheese)

Great video. I'm also running the Imohr Front and rear wishbone setup on my 69' bug chassis although very heavily modified for my application. Subaru STI engine w/ 911 5spd transmission. full 944 Turbo brembo brake conversion front and rear - including bespoke rear caliber carriers. Looking forward to seeing more about your build. hi mate did u manage to get your drive outer stub axles inline with your gear box flanges mine to be off line and the gearbox is in the right place is this right or am i missing something and did u have to make some clearance in the suspension frame for the flanges incise the gearbox vibrates

Man this suspension look so good! But ...spindals, brakes ???? what to choose? looking at the price too ...wow out of my price range could you make something similar that could do the job? Last question did or do you have to modify the body (in the front and rear) to fit the suspension frame? cheers

So that rear suspension system work OK with the subi gearbox without any issues . I'm thinking of doing the same thing with my Sterling kitcar .

Purists beware. Myself appreciate all the effort that goes into builds like this. Shoehorning engine where they originally wasnt designed to be installed is a challenge. Keep the videos coming really interesting channel

Keeping my bug a little more basic. Just a 2.5 non turbo with the Suba Gears in the Subaru trans. I did keep the hydro clutch system from the Subaru and it works real nice.

Great build, im planing to do the same in my front suspension I already have my rear suspension from ihmor. Works great and good product. Also waiting for my enigine case from Pety Fuser👍

So I don’t mean to be mean, but if you’re building a VW bug, why not power it with a VW bug engine you can get just as much horsepower out of a VW. Just saying.

Please tell me that rotory (I see the housings) is going in it!
