An Irish Woodworker’s Diary its been an ambition for a long time to have my own utube channel.my name is Phil Gaynor, Dublin born and a site carpenter by trade. Mostly roofing, first fixing and second fixing for the past 30years.

I got the opportunity to return to college during the recession in 2010. I was accepted into DCFE college to study Furniture Design and Manufacture which is were I learned my new found skills. The college was like a breath of fresh air, meeting new people and learning new skills not just woodworking but computers and CNC and design which is another new skill in itself for me.

From there I have gone on to build more then 40 pieces of furniture which I have documented for myself and the future of the furniture. So I hope I can share my skills with you guys and girls in the hope others can enjoy making furniture too.
